Evening gents, ladies and future poker legends.
Disclaimer: I have started a diary in the past and just let it drop off. I intend to stick with this one

Right with that out the way a little introduction for those who do not know me. My name is Danny and I have been playing poker since the age of 16 / 17 way back in 2002 2003 (Ish) my favorite joint back then was a place called pokerroom which I am pretty sure went bump.
I do ok from poker but could do better, I still make mistakes, I still play terrible ranges sometimes, I still 4 bet wide like im playing poker 5 years ago etc etc
My intention is to start all over again (on sky) I wont be using heavy bankroll management but I also wont be reloading if I fail I fail.
I will be starting with £50 and I will literally play what I fancy but the majority of money made will likely be MTTS I may play a tournament with only 10 buy ins or less... no big deal if I lose I drop back and grind. I will be playing satellites to bigger tourneys and with some luck sats for cash.
Hopefully I can show you an turn a fairly modest sum into something substantial in a short period of time - I could also show the point that better bankroll management is required (but in my experience its not)
I genuinely believe never taking a shot holds many people back - you just have to have the ability to drop down when things fail.
Anyway my results this year (on sky) are pretty rubbish I think I can honestly say I have not bothered checking sharkscope but I cant say how bad. I put some of this down to the fact I have been playing mtts on stars again with v.good results (Around 110% roi for the year)... but the skill sets don't necessarily compliment each other site to site because of the Ante element and field size.
Anyway enough of my babbling I will try my best to make this a good thread and anyone is invited to ask any questions they have.
I'm not to sure what sort of content people would like so feel free to suggest anything. I can post hands, strategy, Br updates... let me know what you would like :-)
Not sure if streaming is allowed now? if so would even stream a few sessions!

I asked Tikay about streaming a little while back and, from what I gathered, there isn't any sort of blanket ban in place regarding streaming Sky games, so it would be great to see somebody else give it go.
As this is a bankroll building challenge it would probably be good if your updates included a running total of how the roll is doing - it'll help keep nosy g*ts like me up to speed

Im a recruitment manager in the education sector and have been in the same sector for 7 years now. Its a job I really enjoy and feel very blessed to have been given an opportunity with very little experience. I worked hard and made it probably into the top 5% of my field and get to work with some great people on a daily basis.
Iv had some big changes in my life recently and more to come that I can speak about at a later date Thanks Matt much appreciated, hopefully not to long before im at some tables with you again.
BR I will update after every session :-) apologies for the kq 1010 earlier I was kinda priced.
Il look at setting up a twitch account and maybe stream one session a week. Im not a massive swearer or abuser so hopefully it will be PC enough for sky to allow it
Session 1
Small session won a little playing hu sngs to begin with so piled into the 7 at 7 and 5.50 1k (solid 7-10 buy in strategy)
I will be doing this alot as im confident enough instantly dropping levels and grinding back if neccessary.
Drew a blank in the 7 at 7 but final table bubbled the 5.50 and took a few heads. had the chip lead with 2 tables left but made a few questionable plays and got it in on a flip and lost.
Would much rather final table bubble playing for the win than a ten pound ladder.
Starting BR £50
Session 1 BR £96.40
Will be looking to up the volume as the br grows but 2-4 tables to begin as my roi will be higher and there will be less swings as a result. Hopefully once we get going I can try a 16 table session.

Mtts have been fairly thin on the ground but iv been playing some husngs dyms and plo cash. sngs were pretty much break even but had a decent plo session.
Took a punt in mtts tonight with profits and played the main / mini and £24 sat to the summit. Turbo Tuesday as it used to be called is by far my favourite format as I love short stack poker. I used to play disgusting amounts of hyper turbo 6 max sngs at the big place.
Bricked the main could not get above starting stack and took a few heads in the mini but nothing to shout about I did however bink a seat to the main and took the cash... (sorry sats for cash haters) Although im reckless unfortunately I am not that reckless + it helps give us a shot at the upcoming UKOPS... if I can hit an early bink we can get into the other events fairly cheap.
so fairly happy managed to scrape out a profit whilst crying over the state of a club my beloved Aston Villa is becoming... norwhich on a Tuesday is a tough loss to take... although tim Krul is an excellent keeper at that level, Jordan Rhodes is a proven quantity at this level and Moritz Leitner from Dortmund (originally) for 1.35 mil looks an absoloute steal... they guy was in jurgen klopps dortmund squad that reached the champions league final... now he plays for delia smith!
The BR is at £196.05 at present so a decent start but it can swing either way pretty quick with the current br management.
The plan is to take a much more measured approach now grinding the 5.25 hu and using profits to take shots in MTTS
For now I will update it to a UKOPS diary.
