A very good morning to you all.
This went surprisingly well yesterday, with 433 views, which was a decent start, though the trend with these things is to start high & then fade as the novelty wears off, but no matter, we'll carry on for a bit.
433 views is not bad for this Forum for a one day thread, in fact it was yesterday's 2nd highest viewed thread. And yesterday's highest-viewed thread? The
@zenbudhist "overbetting" affair.
Make of that what you will.

Says who? None other than the Tripe Marketing Board.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tripe_Marketing_Board
If you think you have a tough job, imagine trying to market tripe. And what is tripe? It's the stomach lining of cows, sheep or cattle generally.
I'm guessing people up north eat it by way of a treat.
Having viewed that, enjoy your breakfast.
So, a quick scan through last night's results.
In the 7 @ 7, so beloved by @zenbudhist , our winner was @Haydenx37 , with Frinton’s finest @EssexPhil 11th
@loololollo was 16th, one of 5 cashes for him last night, & who now has Sky Poker winnings well north of £100,000. Once he learns to stop overbetting like a deranged fish, he might make a decent player.
There was bounty money for @EDRICH & @Toffeeandy
In the 7.30pm £1000 BH it was that man @loololollo who triumphed, with cashes for @Limp2Lose @railtard11 @jubb and @karlluke
@HAYSIE got nothing.
The £8,000 Gold Rush Main went to @ElwoodBlue from the man some love & others hate, @Marmite11 2nd, with @glencoelad a very fine third.
7th was @SUPERSNEDD 8th @Arrogant with @Limp2lose @SharkiO both collecting a few bob.
@loololollo who seems to cash in everything was 16th
The 396 runner Mini went @j4ffa , while @miniman88 who tends to win or finish way down the field was 430th
The 9pm £110 Summit went to @miniman88 – see what I mean? - & collected a handsome £1,800 with @railtard11 2nd & @Alvez11 3rd.
Small money for @loololollo – again – @SharkiO & @jordz16
The boy Groggy @feelgroggy somehow managed £130 in bounty money despite only finishing 15th.
The 10.30pm biggie - £55 entry – went to @pokerghost with @AKAScotty 3rd & the ever popular @gsmith13 4th. @MAXALLY was close but no cigar in 9th, & I was pleased to see @pokey2011, who used to love being on the Sky Poker Televised Mastercash Tables is still with us, albeit on this occasion he was well down the field.
The dictionary definition of "ordinary" includes;
usual, normal, standard, typical, stock, common, customary
Which pretty much sums up Manchester United these days, & last night they were humiliated by Juventus, & to make it worse, they were at Old Trafford.
For decades we have been inspired & entertained by Man U, but now they are just ordinary. Don't you think that's sad? I do.
Meanwhile, & for rubs, their flash-in-the-pan Noisy Neighbours were in sparkling form as they won 3-0 away in Ukraine.
Must be tough to be a Red in Manchester these days.
In the other game featuring English Clubs (Scottish Clubs don't take part in Champions League), Spurs - real name Tottenham Hotspur - are away to PSV Eindhoven, which might be in Holland.
@HAYSIE got nothing.
Thanks for pointing that out. I note that you didn't mention the 5.00 rebuy, forgot to allude to my octogenarianess, if that's not a really a word, you know what I mean, and its a bit rich coming from someone who is practically old enough to be my Great Great Grandad.
In Baseball, we saw the first game (it's best of 7) in the World Series last night, & the Boston Red Sox thrashed the Dodgers 8-4 at Fenway Park.
In Poker, Phil Hellmuth Tweeted this;
So, a question for you "Live" players out there.
What - if anything - does "checking in the dark" achieve?
Around 15 years ago, "checking in the dark" was made popular by a chap named Marcel Luske.
Soon, everyone was copying him, though I doubt many of us knew why. I only did it because I had no idea where I was, & generally, as soon as I said "I check dark" down came a flop I really needed to bet.
But never mind that, here's the real point about Marcel Luske - he started a fashion - this would be around 2004 - which all the cool kids copied.
And the fashion was? Wearing his sunglasses upside down.
And within months, everyone copied him.
Fact is, he could barely see though his uppy-down sunnies, so much so that when he wanted to see properly, he had to lift them up. Can't make this stuff up, can you?
Poker players really are
thenuts.News photo of the day?
Has to be this.
NASA took it, & claim it is a genuine rectangular iceberg.
True or false?
Have you answered on this thread yet?

It's a lot more satisfying & useful than having an argument you can't win about, say, overbetting.
Interesting about Red Star Belgrade and their name..and the baseball news. Have always wanted to see a major league baseball game live but can't even catch it on TV nowadays as I'M not a BT Sport subscriber.
BT Sport has a lot of Premier League games, and I'd forgotten that they had got the Champion's League too. This meant the best game I could watch tonight was WBA v Derby. To be fair, Derby were pretty good.
MLB day,
Not sure how unique it is, but they play in the same stadium as the Oakland Raiders NFL team,
NFL day from the same angle,
The NFL team will soon be playing here,
Imagine the uproar if Newcastle United suddenly announced they were moving to London, or Arsenal to the north east.
It seemed to click up, even though I wasn't logged in on the forum.
You may have to adjust your count by around 15 views.
Morning all.
Disappointing views yesterday, maybe the idea is not what I hoped, or, more likely, the quality of the Content needs to be revved up.
I won't be able to do one today (Thurs) for yesterday (Weds) as I'm going to be Offline all day, but I still plan to give it a go tomorrow & throughout UKOPS. That's the plan, anyway.
Today, Gill & I are going on a nice train journey to the seaside. 1 House Point if you can identify the destination, 4 bonus points if you identify what class train stock that is.
Have a great day out X
