A vey good Thursday morning to you all.
A meandering review of Day 3 (Wednesday) of Mini UKOPS will follow over the next few hours, supplemented by a few non-poker odds & ends, though I shall spare you goats grazing in Moroccan trees today.
If you just want to read the bare results, with no added fluff, you can save yourself some time & see them on the

Another day, another overlay.
Whilst the Mini Main once again sailed home, beating Guarantee with yonks to spare, the other 3 all missed again, exactly as they did on Tuesday.
Collectively, last night's miss was only around £490, arguably a mere bagatelle, but they take these things seriously up in Sky Towers in Leeds.
So it might be a bad morning for @Sky__James, particularly as @Sky_SamT has been particularly grumpy all week - more grumpy than usual - since Leeds got whopped 4-1 by WBA at the weekend.
"James - be in my office at 9am sharp, & don't be late."
Mini UKOPS 09, £2.20 entry, £500 BH
There was an oddity about @gpc70 who finished a modest 23rd, but took more Head Prizes - 9 - than anyone, including all the finalists, none of whom took more than 8. Guess he met with an accident.@steveysee scraped into the money, as did - wait for it - @MattBates who has been conspicuously quiet throughout Mini UKOPS as well as Big UKOPS a few weeks ago. Just shows, no matter how good you are, when variance wants to have her wicked way with you, there's nothing you can do about it, you just gotta lie back & think of England.
Variance, of course, is easily explained. Here you go;
Another cash for @lundie (17th) two spots behind @SidV79 who is hitting some form now.
In the Final, @adelfc ran 6th, then @MOR7Y44, with @Ashgeez in 4th.
Bottom step of the podium for good old @day4eire76, with another loyal Sky Poker regular, @timeforbed on the next step.
Winner? @dubleds. Really pleased for him (her?), plays a ton of £3 stuff on Sky Poker, but I doubt he's won too many UKOPS events. Well done @dubleds.
I made mention of Sky Towers earlier, so a few photos & comments. The real HQ of SB&G is Leeds, but they also have satellite offices in Sheffield & Hammersmith (West London), as well as Germany & Italy.
Here's one of several buildings they occupy in Leeds - though the camera appears to have distorted reality, as the building is not really that "rounded".
By the bye, if any of the Sky Suits are reading this (why would they?), all of the following images are from google, so I'm not giving away any secrets.
It's a really exciting office internally, modern, light, airy with a really relaxed mood.
Many of the Meeting Rooms have gambling related names - Bellagio, Wynn etc. They have almost daily presentations, or "pitches" as they are known these days. Some are quite interesting (they are streamed as well, so we can watch from home), whilst others, the tech-based ones, can be a bit, well, you know, yawn-inducing. Very few days go by without at least one "pitch" though.
This man can often be seen wandering around the Offices - he does not have an office with a door, as with all the Directors they "hot-desk" in the open plan areas - & his name is Richard Flint, affectionately known by many as "Flinty".
Richard, an Arsenal supporter now living in Yorkshire, has run the business since it began, & has been the architect of it's stunning growth & success, culminating in it's £3.6 billion sale recently. A much-respected chap, right across the industry.
Down in 30th was @Froozle, who really seems to be an "all-or-nothing" sort, though he did manage to take 7 Bounties on the way.Mini UKOPS 10, £5.50 entry, £1,500 BH
In 26th place was @Dollie, and I'm sure everyone will be pleased to see he still has game. Here's a lovely photo of Dollie....
The Final Table saw the unpronounceable @pcwmtc in 6th, then @Sicoe77 5th & @bubbahotep 4th.
Top three were @ScottMo1, with @GregUK - a smashing guy - 2nd - and the win went to @TheLittleO.
For those interested in Brexit, things are coming to a head now, & today is a huge day.
I'm not going to take a side in this, but I do feel sympathy for Theresa May, she simply can't please everyone & is in an impossible position.
Cabinet Ministers are resigning left right & centre today, & it ain't gonna get better any time soon.
Chin up Theresa, you can only do your best. Having said that, I'd swerve the dancing stuff if I were her.
Mini UKOPS 11, £11 entry, £3,000 BH
Including rebuys, this one came in at £4,160, so that's handy enough.@Froozle was at it again, finished in a modest-looking 22nd, but took no less than 15 skins along the way.
24th was @Ivydrive who won the Big Boys UKOPS PLO8 in style 2 weeks ago, which gives me the chance to remind the Ploppers that there is a Mini UKOPS PLO8 Bounty Hunter tonight. A PLO8 Bounty Hunter, ugh, the traditionalist in me shudders at the thought, but has to be said, most players love them.
Good effort in 21st by @Ironpump1 (6 skins), another cash for @Sicoe77, and @RiverNiall, who won Mini UKOPS 08 on Tuesday, was 19th, a spot behind @tsarina.
For Team Hot Shot, @jubb ran 16th & @lolufold 13th.
In the final @DONDAPA came 6th, @PICKLE33 and in 4th @neenio can have no complaints.
Spare a thought for @KFitzy2 who has thirditis, that's two nights on the bounce he has been third in the Mini UKOPS Main. Not sure if that's super lucky or super unlucky tbh.
2nd was @Woebegone, running well lately.
Last man standing was @bindi, playing his or her only (Sky Poker) MTT of the evening, & taking 16 bounties too. Does not seem to play very often on Sky Poker, though maybe we'll see more of @bindi now.
This is photoshopped, right? PLEASE be a photoshop......
And if you thought that was bad, look away now.
A few familiar names in the Mini UKOPS mini-money here, including @JBieber, @4fingersAA, @POKEY2011, PLO8 bully @eon1961, and @FLASHJONNY.Mini UKOPS 12, £3 entry, £1,000 BH
There was another cash for @MattBates - beware, he's hitting his stride now.
6th was @wudibluff, then @censword, @Sami14dc with @Yolly 3rd.
A grudging "well done" to @HENDRIK62 after he deliberately annoyed me with ridiculously excessive punctuation yesterday, and a hearty well done to @page12 for denying Hendo the win.
Tonight sees 5 events instead of the usual 4, with a PLO8 Bounty Hunter squeezed in.
Mini UKOPS 13 | £500 Bounty Hunter 6:30pm £2.20 £500 10 3,000
Mini UKOPS 14 | £500 Omaha Hi-Lo Bounty Hunter 7:15pm £5.50 £500 10 3,000
Mini UKOPS 15 | £1,500 Bounty Hunter 7:30pm £5.50 £1,500 10 3,000
Mini UKOPS 16 | £3,000 Deep Stack* 8:30pm £11 £3,000 12 5,000
Mini UKOPS 17 | £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter 9:30pm £3.30 £1,000 7 3,000
Tonight's Main is an odd one - a Deepstack with rebuys. Be interesting to see how the numbers compare with the more normal BH in that slot.
If you play a bunch of those, good luck, but always remember.....
That's it, we're done.
Oh, and keep an eye out for a new Promo today - and it's a very interesting & surprising one, & I'm pretty sure Sky Poker have not run anything along these lines before.
Some of you are going to like it a lot, others, well, you know, not so much.
You want a clue? OK, here you go;
Streaker / striker type promo,?
https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby/poker-promotions/dym-streak-week
Secondly, will it tempt you back into the water?
Such is poker, but I fancy you drive pretty well.
VBOL in the rest of Mini UKOPS.
Morning Tuney.
Yes, it includes PLO8 DYM's.
Tempt me back? It's certainly making me think long & hard about it. I really loved playing here every night & chilling with my virtual mates. I still play poker every single night, & the game - & the people that play it - continues to utterly fascinate me.
