Bye for now - but where next for Jose?

Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties at Manchester United this morning. No great surprise there.

He's a tall poppy, so many folks will delight in his downfall, even though schadenfreude is such a horrible & selfish emotion.

Here's the thing though - would you like him as Manager of your club?

If so, why? Or why not?

Years ago I lost a business just before Christmas and it was pretty awful. Getting sacked (any time, but...) just before Christmas can't be good. Oh... sacked + £18m. That changes things somewhat :D

His talent as a football manager has made him wealthy.

But the only reason he is really rich is his ability to get sacked within 3 years everywhere he has been...

I read somewhere that, in total, his payments from contract termination alone have exceeded £50 million.

    The world has gone mad.

Incidentally, it is 3 years & 1 day since Chelsea parted company with him & paid him a hefty lump, £10 milly I think. In fact he has had TWO lumpy payoffs from Chelsea alone.

It will be interesting to see who is next for ManUre.

Mixture of ageing players and youngsters in the squad-who is good enough to be there in 3 years time?

For me, just De Gea, Pogba, Rashford and Shaw. And 2 of them are likely to leave...

Could be worse...you could get Mark Hughes back.....some years ago pre Klopp there was a rumour that Moanrinho might be interested in the Liverpool job...OMG...we were bad enough then...can you imagine how bad we would have got under him?

My only regret is he didn't see out the season to drag ManU even further in the mire.....

    There are basic principles like,
You will never motivate anyone if you are always grumpy.

You should always b0ll0ck in private, and praise in public.

A good manager will ensure that his team will eat sh 1t and die for him.

The speed at which you offered your support for his post is questionable.

You cant really be "The Special One", unless you back it up with results.

I can't imagine you've ever had a sleepless night........ unless Michael Douglas has been 'at it all night' with Catherine-Zeta, around the corner from you on 'The Mumbles' ! :D:D
