Been gone from the site for a little while but have a seat in the bank for one of next year's events and was just wondering if anyone (@tikay most likely) has some news about next year's potential schedule....
SPT Manchester has already been announced for 8th to 10th February, for which full details will be announced before the end of this month.
It's not my place to give the game away, but it will be announced as "SPT Manchester". As "SPT" stands for Sky Poker Tour, I'm going to go out on a limb & suggest there may be other dates & venues to follow. Not much gets past me, eh?
I'm looking forward to meeting you guys in person at some of the SPT's in 2019.
Extremely nervous about playing live poker though which is the reason I didn't come to any SPT's in 2018, my live tournament experience to date is a total of just two games. I've also only recently "recovered" from some social anxiety issues, so attending would be a big step for me.
Trust me, meeting @Essexphil might give you other issues!
(joking of course, everyone is really friendly, great fun, easy to chat to and it makes for a fun weekend!)
Hope you make one of them and we get the chance to meet you- Manchester is already booked, even though the sats haven't even been announced!..Its @Hanson and @MISTY4ME birthdays in Manchester so be prepared for things to get 'messy'....
I was watching from the sidelines as I'm big mates with Danny (madprof).
It will be worth getting to the venue a good hour or so at least before it starts, as you will need to become a member of the Casino (bring Photo ID) if you aren't already, and there is always a queue to register at start time..... so if you're there early it takes some of the stress away, and gives you chance to meet and chat to some of the people you play against on SKY Poker....... and even meet the Legend that is Mr TiKay
Cheers, yeh I've been to a few in the past in Leeds n Blackpool. Gonna try n set off early as I'm from Durham so will be a while. Waiting for my mate to qualify ( probs end up coming down on me own lol) trying to find some decent digs
Hi Tikay not won my seat yet but hopefully this weekend was just wondering if the anti are being paid by bb only ? if so does it speed up the games and does it change your strategy?

Hi @JBieber
@HANSON is correct.

Yes, it is a shame, but the truth is, our venues don't have enough space relative to the expected number of runners to be 6 Max.
6 Max requires a lot more tables (& Dealers) than traditional 9 or 10 seaters.
I'm certainly available that weekend, so could be there if I qualify.
Well done, be great to see you there.
You don't need to choose a day, or do anything else - just turn up on your preferred starting day & go to the Desk, they'll have your entry.
That's it, job done.
