This is NOT an official entry BUT

    No alcohol since NYE
    2 hearty meals a day, not 3
Reduce no of snacks in between
No caffeine after 15:00- I drink shed loads of fresh coffee so that what the Italians do...
    Exercise walking dogs every day

FFS... now 14st 10- I've put two chuffin pounds on!!

If this carries on clearly a few beers and half a bottle of Malbec a night( with crisps) is a better diet plan!!

Hope you guys are having a better start than me!!

Just to clarify Tikay means starting exercise not quitting or reducing it!

Muscle is much denser than fat, so it is quite possible when living a healthier lifestyle to reduce your chest and waist measurements (for example) but see your weight increase. Also one week is hardly enough time to assess any changes. Keep it up, you'll get there.

I have a friend who is a 6ft tall cycling, tennis playing, kick boxer. If you calculate his BMI using the normal method he is very nearly clinically obese. There isn't much fat on him however and he is build like a brick outhouse. Sometimes simple statistics are very misleading.
