It looks like PokerStars are about to ban "seating scripts".
It's been widely reported on Social Media, & Little Danny re-tweeted it.
Stars then stated.....
PokerStars confirmed that it would soon ban any software that automates the process of filtering, sorting or joining a table based on profiling opponents.
“In order to continue to protect our players and enhance the overall experience, in the coming months we will be introducing a range of changes to our Third Party Tools & Services policy, which we will communicate ahead of time,” a PokerStars spokesperson told PRO.
“One such change is we will be prohibiting any tool or service for table selection efficiency that filters or sorts available games, or automates/semi-automates the process of joining available games based on opponent gameplay statistics or notes,” the statement continues.
“For example, the use of seating scripts that join players to a set number of tables that have an average statistic for opponents above/below a certain figure, or work off pre-assigned player notes, are prohibited,” it added.
'Stars get bashed up whatever they do, but even on 2+2 this was overwhelmingly supported as a great move.
Looks like 'Stars are continuing to move away from appealing to the Pros, & instead, focussing on recreational players.
I've got no axe to grind with the Pros, but this looks a great move for recreational players generally.

Next to go, HUD's maybe?
HUDs might be next but I don't think it will be anytime soon. So many of their players rely on the HUD and if they can't use it they probably move to a site where they can. Without the HUD they stop becoming good 'poker players'.
Thanks for the quick response
but then again I haven't got a clue when it comes to computers
