In the Mini, I don't know too much about any of those who finalled, so not much I can report really.
Except.......
Unless you are into "True Crime", that name will be meaningless, but for True Crime fans, the name Whitey Bulger needs no introduction.
Whitey ran the underworld in Boston for many years, then went "on the lam" (on the run) & evaded capture for 16 years.
He was the boss of the so-called Winter Hill Gang, & was eventually found guilty of 19 murders.
And the extraordinary thing was that some of those murders were for infringing the gangsters code of "no grassing", & yet throughout his time running all the rackets in Boston & murdering folks all over the shop, he was a paid FBI informer. In fact, his DBI "handler", John Connolly, tipped Whitey off that the FBI were about to arrest him, & that's when he fled, eventually settling down & living quietly in Santa Monica until eventually caught.
Even more bizarre, during Whitey's reign of terror, his brother, William Bulger, was President of the Massachusetts Senate.
Whitey died just a few months ago, aged 89.
If you are interested in Whitey's exploits, Amazon Books have 15 or 20 books about him, & all of them are great reads. And yes, I've read every one.
There was a film about him too, called "Black Mass".
Also love these daily updates thank for your hard work
