Ronnie O'Sullivan speaks in bizarre Australian accent for post-match interview
Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Barry Hawkins in the Coral Players Championship - and celebrated by speaking in a bizarre Australian accent in his post-match interview.
O'Sullivan secured a 6-4 first-round win over Hawkins, despite his fight back, to set up a last-eight clash against either John Higgins or Mark Selby.
Speaking to BBC Lancashire Sport after his win, the world number three said: "I dip in with a bit of Cockney, a bit of Australian and a bit of Scouse, you know what I mean mate?
"It's all good. I should have been an impersonator!"
When asked if there was a reason for him talking in an Australian accent, he added: "No mate, I just feel totally positive.
"When you talk Aussie, the Aussies are just winners mate, you know? You've got to love a winner.
"Us English, we love a loser, so I thought I'm fed up of being a loser, I'm going to talk like a winner, like the Aussies. Get the Ashes won mate."
The interview concluded with O'Sullivan saying: "That's for me to know and for you to find out, mate," when asked if he was in a good mood
