Round up of Sunday's results on Sky Poker - and it's a double for Mr Mean Machine.

Sunday Major

The winner, & playing only his 2nd MTT on Sky Poker in a fortnight was the elegantly-aliased @pricktim, who collected over £4,000 for his troubles.

Runner-up was @rndmmuppet, with 3rd place going to @eaturchips who was at Road to Manchester on Saturday, so that paid for his bar bill. Almost.

7th was @alancarr12, and 8th @TONY509.

Finishing back to back in 16th to 20th places was a right line-up of Sky Poker reprobates in @rspca12, @AB0151 @Akooo, @StayOrGo & @HAYSIE.

Mini Major

This one got across the Guarantee line by just 10 runners, with @Cammyspazy finishing top of the pile, having got the better heads up of @goldnballz.

Close up in 9th was a recent returnee to the Forum, in @MynaFrett, with @BlairReid 10th & @BooBooTheB 17th. Sneaking into the money in 21st was @GSmith13, who was in for a long evening.

There was yet another cash for @oynutter, not much, but he's going along nicely now, & those who know him will be delighted, I'm sure.

Sheriff

What a tough final this must have been, but Mr Mean Machine himself, aka @GSmith13 beat them off to book the win. with @S1D runner-up, closely followed by a posse of hotshots in @FeelGroggy, @chicknMelt, @Haydenx37 and @GFKIJKLL. If you can whop that lot you deserve the win.

7th to 12th was no easier, with @MikeyW94 7th, then @scotty77, @lundie, @gypsyluck, @alancarr12, and @MattBates, the last-named no doubt happy to beat @cpfc_2010 by a spot, with @rspca12 next home.

Quickdraw

A quickfire double for @GSmith13 as he won Sheriff too, followed home this time by @GFKIJKLL, @Itsover4u, @Jamesy955, @kodiak1985 & in 6th place @SenorBegs who has had a quiet time lately by his standards.

In the "what are the chances?" department, @MikeyW94 & @scotty77, the 8th & 9th in the Sheriff, occupied the exact same 2 positions again. With @GSmith13 booking the win in both events, that means 1st, 8th & 9th finished identically in both tourneys. You'd get decent odds about that happening I fancy.

The unfortunate bubble went to @chrisdonkb.

For someone who is notoriously bad at satellites, I am amazed that I have successfully navigated two of them to get a place in the final. I have had three lucky rivers over the two tournaments, and I honestly believe I will need some more luck to book my place on the plane to Vegas. Just looking at the names of this weeks qualifiers tells me I am a minnow swimming in an ocean of poker playing whales and sharks.
Having said that , some minnows manage to avoid these goliaths to go on swimming and enjoying themselves.
