Not been running well last few days so haven't posted.
Managed to come 22nd outta 187 for Bubble to the cash on the 1k 3.30 bh. And was close to a decent cash in the Avenger tonight but just couldn't get a double up after getting chips in and splitting twice near the end. The exit hand was just horrid for me. Cant win on these mains when it counts. But did manage a 2nd in the midnight game so back up to where I want to be

Terrific photos @Dazler. Were they taken with your new camera?
Hope you are feeling better now.
I'm lucky enough to live right beneath one of the two designated Helicopter routes - "heli lanes" - that helicopters flying to or over London are obliged to use. (There are 2, north & south). So I get to see plenty of them daily, and lots of them are military. Most days I see at least 3 or 4 Chinooks, the UK ones are based down in Hampshire, & I assume they commute up to the Air Force bases in East Anglia. Spectacular looking machines, & they have a sound all of their own, a really deep "throb-throb".
I'm also quite close to Heathrow. Gill & I are both aircraft nerds, so on Sunday we went across to Heathrow at 0530 to watch all the long-haul heavies landing. I don't have a proper camera, just a camera-phone, & I'm the world's worst photographer, but it does give me a kick to see these beauties at super low-level, as they come into Heathrow's southern runway over the A30 at Hatton Cross.
Brings back memories for me, in the early eighties jobs were a bit thin in the ground in my home town so I decided to go down to the big smoke and look for for work, I pitched up in Victoria, the job opportunities where chalk and cheese, my first day I got a job in the City as a messenger, applied for jobs as a postman, van driver and bus driver got accepted for all of them decided to be a bus driver.
During my training we used to go to Heathrow every day, the instructor who was a bit of a gal was in love with concorde she used to bring her camera with her every day, we would drive around and whenever she saw a plane she liked she'd pull the chord 2 times, that was time to stop, she'd jump off the back of the bus and we would see her about an hour later like an excited kid telling us about all the planes she managed to get snaps of, halcyon days indeed.
BBC4 - 8PM tonight, Planespotting Live. Over 3 nights, Peter Snow and Andi Peters head up a team watching British airspace. It's basically Springwatch for fans of metal birds!

Yes feeling much better now thank you Tikay. And yes I did take them on the new camera its a Cannon 80D i'm well chuffed with the results but learning it all again. I always have had an interest in photography and aircraft as my dad worked for British Aerospace and family worked for BritishAirways. Nothing like the frill and sound of a Rolls Royce Engine. Some good shots there Tikay must have been super low if taken on a mobile. They had a Chinook at the show but it didn't fly on the day I was there Still there was absolutely loads to see. Ill post a few more pics below as seems we have a few Aircraft spotters here
Only played one mtt last night as a lightning strike hit a chimney just around the corner from me with fireball and all wish i got that pic, lightning is very hard to catch on film just like gut shots. It took out the tv signal and my internet shut down.

Evening all, I am back. I like to go for a wonder as you probably have guessed by now. Not because of bad runs or anything just getting on with life things. Hope you are all well and looking forward to Crimbo. First time back today since August but gonna be on for a while again. More photos will follow to those that are interested and have even started up my own business as a photographer which i'm loving right now.
