This was a hand which I played today and was wondering if this was the correct call in the long run on the flop. For me personally its pretty much the nut flop. I won the hand followed by a torrent of abuse which I Found amusing such as '' go back to playing poker'' which I replied Omaha is a form of poker..

Anyway just wanted feedback from Omaha players if you would make the call on the flop or even how I played the hand pre- flop

I'm calling on that flop, yes.

Given the pre-flop action, I'm putting the others on paint cards, so I'm almost certainly ahead on the flop. I definitely prefer your post-flop action to 10-10-9-6 man.

Was a nice river for you though. ;)

I'd not worry about the abuse, it's standard in spots like this.

Folding pre. Not opening either. No suits, and low cards UTG is a no no unless you are in super passive games.

As played gii on flop slam dunk style.

    @kapowblamz

Well we don't know the qame-flow, or whether it's been passive or aggro. However, I suspect - just a guess - that the Kerrnal has been busy & opening a lot of pots, & so everyone is defending wide.

The action behind us tells us that the Aces or Kings are almost certainly out, (in fact both were, but we did not know that), & so we need to see a flop, when we must either hit it hard or bail out.

I do rather enjoy playing 1 gappers, & yes, I prefer them to be middling or up the top end, but we can win big pots if we get a favourable flop.

Whether I'd have the minerals to do it in a game at the top of my bankroll level is another matter of course, I'd probably bottle it.

PS - I'm assuming this is PLO, not PLO8. It's deffo a pre-flop muck in 08 as we can almost never scoop with this.

Have to add, I'd love to see more PLO or PLO8 hands up for discussion on the Forum.

This was PLO I have played PLO8 a few times an struggle with the ranges . I second that I find Omaha far more interesting and starting to play more cash. Have sky thought about adding more bounty hunter Omaha tournaments like when UKOPs is on @Tikay10

Ha, yes, it's my little hobby horse.

Guess I'm just very old-fashioned, & don't wish to see The Beautiful Game messed with.

I'd probably still play Hold Em if it were Pot Limit too, Pot Limit makes any poker variant more attractive to me.

I might just be in a minority there, mind......

Exactly as @kapowblamz said. In this line up of players you really don't need to be opening too wide. You will never out aggro players like YouJ, they are there just to pot pot pot until the money is gone.

Having said that, don't think you've played the hand badly, you haven't. Post flop is fine also.
