AVENGER MAIN

This missed Guarantee by just 4 runners/rebuys/addons, so more a flesh wound than a mortal blow.

The boy Groggy was the popular winner, he's much liked for one of such tender years. I tried to find a good photo of him in Live action, but google images came up dry, maybe because he looks under age. Here he is though at the SPT Grand Final in Manchester recently, he's the one far left trying to look intelligent. Between the Dealer & Groggs is @Sky__James successfully doing his "I'm bored, can we just get on with it" look.

Groggs has 6,000 MTT's to his credit here, an ROI of 56% & £87,000 of profit, which jumps to £98,000 if we include SNG's. What a talent, imagine being his age & knowing you'll never have to work. WAL. Nice lad though, & if he were my Son I'd be a very proud Dad.

Must have been quite a battle heads up as splashies is no pushover.

At the other end of the age spectrum was @Direwolf, who still has great game. He came with us to Viva Las Vegas many years ago, & I doubt any Viva Las Vegas winner ever enjoyed Vegas as much as Guy did. Here's Direwolf demonstrating the joys of spring at DTD.

Just missing the Final was TaptapBoom, & if you were paying attention you'd know he win the Mini the previous night.

A decent week too for Tonyzya who won Quickdraw on Wednesday then run 5th in the same one on Thursday. Heater time.

@Tonyzya 0 22 £43.85 + £41.72 Head Prizes 2

Finally, I mentioned Sky James earlier. Well on Thursday, up in Leeds, SB&G had their Annual Charity Night at a local casino, (I'm guessing my invite got lost in the post), & James came 3rd in the poker tournament. All of which is of no interest to anyone, except James was wearing a tie. James. Wearing a tie. So I teased him about the (utterly dreadful) tie, & he proudly told me he also had a jacket. James, jacket & tie? RAISE. Nice hat though James, very nice.

    Avenger Mini

    No guarantee worries here, beating the number by a handsome 17.5%

    1st & 2nd are new names on me, but both seem to do pretty well here.

    GSmith13 (3rd) needs no introduction, & whilst MITCH38 is not a name we see too often he has 4,000 games to his credit on Sky Poker.

    Extraman, in 5th, won Predator Main on Wednesday, so he's had a decent week.

    @ZAMO53 2292000 1 £592.50 + £79.02 Head Prizes 4

    @Drixla 0 2 £331.80 + £126.64 Head Prizes 11

    @GSmith13 0 3 £195.76 + £41.38 Head Prizes 5

    @MITCH38 0 4 £155.24 + £77.64 Head Prizes 11

    @extraman 0 5 £130.35 + £44.66 Head Prizes 8

    @dazed1 0 6 £105.47 + £59.58 Head Prizes 9

    splashies, runner-up in the 8pm Main, was 9th here.

    @splashies 0 9 £47.40 + £17.74 Head Prizes 2

    SHERIFF

    This surpassed guarantee by a whopping 40%, oh yes.

    Nice result for PRhack93, & also for runner-up Kautostar - presumably a horse racing fan - who is a Sky Poker MTT Newbie with just 7 MTT's to his credit, including winning a satellite into Sheriff & then collecting over £500 in the target event. Decent start I'd say.

    In 4th was @Froozle, exactly one week since he won the Mini, & presumably flexing his muscles in readiness for UKOPS where he always does well. He was the most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker in 2018, thanks to some nice UKOPS binks if I'm not mistaken.

    TIMBER was 5th, fresh from his wonderful score at the Stoke GPS. I'll post the full Stoke result if Genting ever update the result on their website. No rush Genting, we've got plenty of time.

    Melty ran 6th.

    @PRhack93 280000 1 £518 + £303.12 Head Prizes 5

    @Kautostar 0 2 £308 + £248.43 Head Prizes 9

    @sharp1984 0 3 £210 + £71.48 Head Prizes 2

    @Froozle 0 4 £154 + £56.25 Head Prizes 3

    @TIMBER 0 5 £112 + £50.40 Head Prizes 2

    @chicknMelt 0 6 £98 + £121.88 Head Prizes 6

    Close but no cigar for both Villain Bates & my tip for the top chrisdonkb.

    @chrisdonkb 0 7 £75 Head Prizes 4

    @MattBates 0 10 0

    You ever wonder how folks come up with their aliases? Spotted this one down in 44th.

    @suckmetoe 0 44 0

    I'm guessing that came is in honour of a 1990's Tory MP, David Mellor, who famously lost his job as a Cabinet Minister after a toe job. That's toe, not blow. They don't make politicians like him any more. He was a sort of 1990 version of Boris.

    QUICKDRAW

    35 runners this time, which is plenty.

    About time scotty77 took one down, he cashes relentlessly, but wins have been far & few between of late, though I expect he's been getting the lot elsewhere.

    cjy won this a few nights ago, & was 4th this time.

    @scotty77 175000 1 £350 + £290.22 Head Prizes 6

    @Woebegone 0 2 £218.75 + £158.20 Head Prizes 7

    @BaldusNew 0 3 £131.25 + £107.82 Head Prizes 5

    @cjy 0 4 £96.25 + £103.13 Head Prizes 5

    @tug180 0 5 £78.75 + £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @bampfers 0 6 0

    Some familiar names just missed the final, including RogueCell who we don't see as much of as we used to, but who usually plays most of the UKOPS stuff.

    @wineli 0 7 £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @chicknMelt 0 8 £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @RogueCell 0 9 0

    All the way down in 31st of 35 was Graham, despite which he took a head prize.

    @StayOrGo 0 31 £18.75 Head Prizes 1
