Sharpshooter Main

This came up just 3 runners shy of the £10,000 Guarantee, so not too bad all things considered.

Top of the pile was old hand gadgerno1, rated at 93 on Sharky, which is high by any standards.

Runner-up GregUK sits 4th on the 2019 Sky Poker "Count" leaderboard, so that's a ton of volume.

3rd placed Bess02 had not played an MTT here since Christmas Day. Welcome back Bess.

In 4th was bigstack75, who has a profit graph that's going up nicely, though it has taken him 11 years to play just 883 MTT's.

@gadgerno1 1645000 1 £1321.96 + £540.34 Head Prizes 16

@GregUK 0 2 £780.01 + £148.18 Head Prizes 11

@Bess02 0 3 £468.51 + £220.98 Head Prizes 9

@bigstack75 0 4 £370.76 + £121.81 Head Prizes 6

@Hotlove 0 5 £314.03 + £32.34 Head Prizes 2

@MAGPIETYKE 0 6 £260.85 + £54.33 Head Prizes 3

Another two Sky Poker veterans ran 14th & 16th.....

@EBBERDON 0 14 £50.65 + £11.25 Head Prizes 1

@SoLack 0 16 £50.65 + £147.09 Head Prizes 7

A deep run by Angmar26 in 19th, a decent win can't be far away for him.

@Angmar2626 0 19 £43.05 + £14.77 Head Prizes 1

All the way down in 275th of 276, this chap maybe needs to change his alias.....

    Sharpshooter Mini

    This beat target by 23%, very nice too.

    Winner BooBooTheB is going along nicely, & now has over £25,000 in MTT profits here. Think he's going to have a good UKOPS.

    Spotted the alias roytheboy7 in 16th place, presumably named in homage to Roy Brindley. Many new generation players will not have heard of Roy, but there was a period when he was the most successful player in Europe. Prior to poker, he was a Greyhound Trainer, but the wheels came off & he ended up living on the street.

    He got himself sorted though, & was the face of Ladbrokes Poker for many years, who were the biggest & best poker site in Europe. How things change. He eventually fell out with them over an Affiliates deal & ended up suing them.

    These days he is a F1 tipster, & it's fair to say he tends to come up with left-field selections.

    Roy married a lovely girl named Mags, who was the TD at the old Merrion Cardroom in Dublin, & they have a family now & live in Wicklow. Still playing a bit of poker, & had a nice result just a fortnight ago.

    He wrote a book, too, called "Life's a Gamble", which sits on my bookshelf just inches away from where I am currently sitting in a sort of miscellaneous section.

    Crystal Palace got a result away to Newcastle yesterday, but it was not all plain sailing for Palace fans as we can see here, in 491st of 492 runners.....

    Sheriff

    Quite a popular one this, with the £2,000 Guarantee being bested by some 30%. ("being bested" sounds like shocking grammar, & probably is).

    No prisoners were taken at the sharp end of this as alancarr12, Gsmith13 & ItsOver4U battled it out for the highest steps on the podium. Aggro, or what?

    The oddity is that the winner took 12 Head Prizes whilst runner-up Gsmith13 got none at all. How that happen?

    @alancarr12 260000 1 £481 + £467.95 Head Prizes 12

    @GSmith13 0 2 £286 0

    @Itsover4u 0 3 £195 + £106.64 Head Prizes 4

    @HATTERBOY 0 4 £143 + £111.33 Head Prizes 4

    @FuzzyDare 0 6 £91 + £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    Quickdraw

    37 runners here (needing 30), & if it can remain at or near that level it'll be fine.

    Winner SenorBegs took his MTT winnings to £115,000, & he's now the 2nd most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker in 2019, though he'll need to double his winnings to catch the current # 1, Villain Bates.

    @SenorBegs 185000 1 £370 + £298.91 Head Prizes 7

    @Makaka 0 2 £231.25 + £184.29 Head Prizes 7

    @shirley02 0 3 £138.75 + £137.11 Head Prizes 6

    @AL91X 0 4 £101.75 + £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    @POKEOFFU 0 5 £83.25 + £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @BrayCorp83 0 6 £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    FT bubble boy was Limp2Lose, a spot ahead of my tip for the top peter27.

    Good to see PhilAny2_Q amongst the runners, in his first MTT here since New Years Day. Very good player, a Sharky spinning gold star & everything.
