Folding turned top set on co-ordinated board- good or bad?

I'd like your thoughts on this hand. Villain had been highly active but in the 2 hours at the table every time he'd over-bet shoved the flop or turn he either had the nuts OR a draw to the nuts (obviously based on the occasions he got a call). The fact we were both so deep(+300BB ef stack) at the time is another unusual factor.
