loololollo had been on a Sky Poker sabbatical since the turn of the year & only returned on Saturday.

    Well done to these 4.

    Granite was there last year, in fact he won SPT Las Vegas last year. Proper nit, premium hands only.

    He ran pretty good at the sharp end in Vegas last year too. 5 left, AlanCarr shoved into him with 10-7, & Granite found the Aces.

    Then, heads up v 24caliber, caliber boated up somehow with 10-7 on a 4-4-4 flop, but Granite had the monster 4-3 for flopped quads.

    A few hands later, it was Quads again for Granite with the suited connectors this time, J-2 hh.

    Groggs of course will be a popular winner. Despite being a high roller & a big winner, he spends a lot of time on the Forum helping those of us at the other end of the ability & stake scale. Top top bloke. He'll need ID in Vegas though, where the minimum age to play poker is 21. He looks well shy of that.

    The fairytale tale of course is MISTY4ME, what a win this was for the West Country man, he's done well at a few SPT's lately too. Here he is (on the left as we look) next to some random at SPT Manchester.

    Many congratulations to the four winners. Very happy for Misty and Groggy,although I have to beat both of them if I am to take home the prize.

    I do find it interesting when people win packages as often is some grumbling about different people winning. Good set of winners and assuming lool and groggy are actual over 21 I am sure they will have a great time. Good to have granite back to try and defend his title!

    So many people I have spoken to are absolutely chuffed for misty winning a package. Having met him at a few events, he is a genuinely nice guy and great to share a beer with and I know he will have a fantastic time!

    My coaching you in the 28p was the final training needed. Pop round for the Vegas suit from the Charity Shop, Victoria had it cleaned & pressed.

    Unfortunately she doesn't do flying so won't be coming as my +1.....I was trying to keep it from her as it's her birthday today, but the 'Cat's out of the Bag' :#

    ..... and as for the Charity Shop ........I'm defo going to have to go there to get some clothes if the wife cuts all mine up to stop me going..... I just wouldn't quite fit into many of David's :D

    Think I need to get a new photo done TiKay ...... one with the Trophy would be good :)B)

    Well played Misty and you gave the others a head start don't know what was happening but I was willing you to come back to the table, needed sleep about 11pm so didn't see result till today.

    Cheers guys........ I was on Taxi duties. I had to pick the Wife, daughters and friends up from Truro station, coz they had been on a boozy day out in Plymouth, so was MIA for 40 minutes.
    I've checked through the Hand History, and didn't miss too much except for KK on the 9.55pm break..... I hate the break hand, so I know that would have got me in trouble (v. Groggy) :)

    Mistyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy - Huge congrats on a fantastic win. I tried (and failed) but couldn't manage to even get to top 12. I did rail from 12 players out though and have to say the game was played in great atmosphere. At 12 players out I think Misty was the shortest of the short at one point but managed to play the short stack like the pro that he is. I couldn't be happier for Misty as he's a genuinely lovely guy - it's lovely when wishes come true :smiley: . Congrats to Groggy and the other package winners aswell.

    Now just need Madprof and Sid79 to also win packages and the fearsome foursome (including pompeynic) will hit Vegas like a hurricane.
