anyone been tripping

 hi all has anyone played the new game trips yet. 5 players and 3 get payed. havnt seen one full yet so dont now what the payout structure is. any ideas

    5 players, two games, one at 60p and the other at £1:15

    For the 60p one it is 5 times 50p pool so
    3rd gets 20% which is 50p (loss of 10p)
    2nd gets 30% which is 75p profit of 15p
    1st gets 50% which is £1:25 profit of 65p

    For the £1:15 one it is 5 times £1
    3rd gets 20% which is £1 (loss of 15p)
    2nd gets 30% which is £1:50 profit of 35p
    1st gets 50% which is £2:50 profit of £1:35

    As you can see, the only bit worth winning is 1st in the pound tourney, so IMO they are really poor value - give them a miss, thats why i think they have such a poor uptake

    According to the tournament information, the payout is 50/30/20.
    So, if you finish 3rd you get your stake back minus the rake.
    2nd place gives you a very small profit and 1st place a little bit more than double your stake.
    I can't see much appeal, personally.
