Morning.

Here's a quick run through last night's 4 Mini UKOPS events.

This thread will be Mini UKOPS only, there will be separate threads for the usual Headline events, & another for the 3 Forum Triple Takedown jobbies. That's the plan, anyway.

    Mini UKOPS 01 £500 Bounty Hunter, £2.20 entry

    @spearsy136 took down the opener, & a glance at his Sharky tells us he is more than handy. "Only" £4,700 of profit from 4,600 games, so roughly £1 per game. But....with an average stake of just £3, those are very handsome returns.

    Runner-up @9ETHER is another of those weird things where folks suddenly turn up after a long absence & insta-bink. Not played a single MTT here for 2 years prior to yesterday, then runs 2nd in a 270 runner field.

    Delighted to see @mondo1985 on the Final Table. Anyone care to guess how many DYM's he has played on Sky Poker? You'll never get it, so I'll tell you - 140,000. Sheesh.

    The FT was rounded out by 2 of the forum good guys, @68Trebor, who is sweating Aston Villa in the play-offs, & @tomgoodun making, I think, his 51st FT of 2019.

    @spearsy136 810000 1 £70.47 + £23.71 Head Prizes 10

    @9ETHER 0 2 £41.58 + £10.01 Head Prizes 4

    @mondo1985 0 3 £24.98 + £8.96 Head Prizes 6

    @ughx3000cx 0 4 £19.76 + £5.35 Head Prizes 4

    @68Trebor 0 5 £16.74 + £16.85 Head Prizes 11

    @tomgoodun 0 6 £13.90 + £4.36 Head Prizes 5

    Mini UKOPS 02 £1,500 Bounty Hunter £5.50 entry

    Rather surprisingly, this missed by 24 runners, but it was the only miss of the night.

    The winner has some 20,000 games to his credit so must have been around a good while.

    Runner-up @Rockfella has played just 8 MTT's since February. In 3rd was @darryn1973 who is a decent winner over a large sample size.

    @SMARTGOAT is another accomplished player, & perhaps surprisingly for a fiver BH he was one of two Sharky Gold Star holders on the FT.

    In 6th was @flopandgo who was winning a £2 BH for the 2nd night in succession.

    @I_Will 828000 1 £211.41 + £57.76 Head Prizes 6

    @Rockfella 0 2 £124.74 + £19.19 Head Prizes 8

    @darryn1973 0 3 £74.92 + £22.97 Head Prizes 8

    @SMARTGOAT 0 4 £59.29 + £26.07 Head Prizes 7

    @nslater112 0 5 £50.22 + £26.01 Head Prizes 6

    @flopandgo 0 6 £41.72 + £17.69 Head Prizes 5

    With Total Player points going down to 10th (plus all who cashed) the points earned by @day4eire76 might just end up coming in handy if he can have a good Mini UKOPS.

    @day4eire76 0 9 £18.23 + £19.08 Head Prizes 6

    Mini UKOPS 03 £4,000 Bounty Hunter, £11 entry

    This was the Mini UKOPS "Main" if you get my drift.

    Do you remember the tingle of excitement in your willy (or equivalent) when you played your first ever MTT? Or when you got your first football kit as a 7 year old & played on a proper football pitch for the first time?

    Well Rose has been playing poker here for an absolute age, but I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone with as much enthusiasm & heart as @IrishRose. It's as if every MTT she plays is her first.

    She was up at SPT Glasgow a month or so back, & bust the SPT, next thing I heard she had gone across town to the local Genting & won their event. Loves poker? Just a bit. It's a delight to see.

    In 3rd was @NoEa5yCa5h who has a very good game indeed, & is one of the regulars who enter the Forum Comp every day.

    In 5th was @neenio who has been here 6 years, & is now just a few hundo shy of £60,00 of profit. £10k per year is a very nice side-income.

    @IrishRose 1407000 1 £609.70 + £142.70 Head Prizes 7

    @robson23 0 2 £351.75 + £77.52 Head Prizes 9

    @NoEa5yCa5h 0 3 £213.40 + £78.42 Head Prizes 9

    @gazza21435 0 4 £171.19 + £34.51 Head Prizes 7

    @neenio 0 5 £145.39 + £15.24 Head Prizes 2

    @gr0wapear 0 6 £119.59 + £51.13 Head Prizes 10

    Well done Nik @u_owe_me.

    @u_owe_me 0 14 £23.68 + £42.32 Head Prizes 7

    Another Forum Comp regular in 17th....

    @coo1-um 0 17 £23.68 + £3.75 Head Prizes 1

    Meanwhile, not content with winning a Vegas package on Sunday in quite remarkable circumstances, @goldnballz nicked another few bob by taking 8 Head prizes down in 22nd place.

    @goldnballz 0 22 £17.59 + £35.63 Head Prizes 8

    Mini UKOPS 04 £1,500 Rebuy B/Hunter, £3.30 entry

    Quite a night for @yankee46 who collected £350 for taking this one down, then another £200 90 minutes later for winning a tenner BH.

    4th & 5th placed @Lalalola & @seikus have both been on good runs recently, & are remarkably alike in profile & results, both being decent winners.

    @yankee46 1562000 1 £250.03 + £97.09 Head Prizes 11

    @bazza007 0 2 £149.07 + £39.07 Head Prizes 9

    @VALERIAN 0 3 £89.63 + £50.97 Head Prizes 11

    @Lalalola 0 4 £70.76 + £45.05 Head Prizes 11

    @seikus 0 5 £59.91 + £12.86 Head Prizes 3

    @badplayer1 0 6 £50.01 + £19.05 Head Prizes 6

    @MAXALLY, returning to form, nicked a few bob in 12th.

    @MAXALLY 0 12 £15.10 + £1.68 Head Prizes 1

    Some folks can't stop cashing.....

    @goldnballz 0 17 £10.19 + £20.03 Head Prizes 8

    @IrishRose 0 24 £8.21 + £7.89 Head Prizes 4

    Many thanks all for the good wishes but I have to say (and this is the truth @Tikay10 ) that I got extremely lucky in those games last night. In my opinion @robson23 really deserved the win as I more than likely made a bad call on the last hand and got a lucky river card. He'd flopped 2 pair and I only had flush draw - with straight draw on the turn at which point it went all in. I'm not good at working out the odds of the flush coming in on the river but I'm sure he was ahead of me. He also came 10th in UKOPS 02 so I'd say he's more worthy of a mention.

    All in all the FT last night was good natured - no-one ranting or complaining when they went out and @gr0wapear was good enough to stay on til the game finished to congratulate the 2 HU - not often you see that at 2.20am in the morning lol.

    PS Also wanted to thank Mr @HAYSIE for his good luck wishes as we shared a table for a while in the early hours.

    Good luck all for tonight and the rest of UKOPS x
