Hi guys, well we now have 10 players for the North and 10 players for the South, so we can potentially get started very soon.

So how will it work?

I will add to this post from time to time, but to start with I will just explain THE FOURBALLS, which is where we'll start off.

The best equivalent that I can come up with in Poker to represent "FOURBALLS" is as follows:

Two players from the North each play against two players from the South, in three matches

So to give an example, lets say the NORTH'S first "pairing" is @MAXALLY and @rspca12 and the SOUTH'S "paring" is @Essexphil and @MISTY4ME

So:

MAXALLY would play ESSEXPHIL (3 games total, still carry on if it is 2-0)
RSPCA12 would play MISTY4ME (3 games total, still carry on if it is 2-0)
MAXALLY would play MISTY4ME (3 games total, still carry on if it is 2-0)
RSPCA12 would play ESSEXPHIL (3 games total, still carry on if it is 2-0)

This totals 12 games. Whichever side wins get's 1 point for their team, if it is 6 ALL then it is a "HALF",

In an ideal world, all 4 players will be available at the same time and play all their matches in "one go", however, I appreciate that this may not always be possible.

@MAXALLY and I will pick 4 pairings in order and will send them to a "neutral" who will then tell us what the fixtures are.

So Alan, we have 10 players each and ideally all the FOURBALL matches will be completed within a week of the commencement of the tournament, so I recommend that you and I PM all our team and pick the 8 players that have the most flexibility to play in the week in question.

Hope this makes sense for the 4 balls at least.

Any questions, fire away!

Cheers,

Graham
