Discipline discipline discipline. Lots of teams have cost themselves with red cards. Yes the tensions and rewards are incredibly high, but , as the winning England World Cup rugby side used to say, tcup think clearly under pressure.
Haven't seen a goalkeeping performance that bad since Paul Rachubka getting taken off vs Blackpool for us under Simon Grayson in (I think) our first season back in the Championship. We lost 5-0, and Rachubka never played for us again. Casilla was "He's never playing for us ever again" bad tonight.
The red card is just standard Berardi. I've lost count of how many times he's been sent off for us now, and he's not good enough to make up for it the rest of the time either.
Challenge for us now is going to be convincing some of our Prem quality players to stick around in the Championship for another season, especially if they see we aren't spending in the summer to push for automatic promotion.
Definitely know where we need to improve in the summer transfer window now, at least. Priorities should be getting a keeper, depth at CB, and replacing any players we sell to PL clubs.
