There definitely seems to be a trend of folks winning MTt's after an absence - @russell1na returned exactly a month after his last MTT & got the cheese.

Those with long memories will well remember @anjie1970 who was 2nd. She was a very high volume player here back in the day & won a good few bob too. In fact in 2009 - 10 long years ago - she was the 5th most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker, behind only the likes of @Sharksbite @MASSIE29 & @Uzi_lover. Sharksbite has not been seen in an MTT here for 6 months, Massie for 4 years, & Uzi, who remains a good mate of mine on another poker forum, has played just 2 MTT's here this year.

Amazing how the years roll by, I remember all of them so well, especially on Sky Poker TV where Uzi & Sharksbite were both Guests on occasion.
