Not even sure why 80/20 HH#2 here?

• Yes KK failed you (again ), but some dubious play on your part.

• Yes possibly* disgusting call pre by villain to a 7x OOP - but a straight up flip once the flop comes (ahead if you don't have 1 blocker obv.) - he has equity to call any bet here, shove over not bad either! Yes you can have better FD but taking the pot down 8-high at this point is a result!
  

Some respect to villain at least for getting value from your face up hand from the turn on.

*Maybe villain knows you're never folding big pairs so has implied odds here, you are pretty deep here and you have played your hand face up, or you always opening 7x?
He's trading his mistake pre. for your larger ones post, from the turn you are now bigger dog than he was pre! What did you put him on when he leads in to you and bets the river BTW?

Super unlucky HH#1, hands like that make me just want to give up poker.
