@NChanning Hi Neil,
Just wondering if you are going to Vegas this year, must be, of course you are.
If so, do you have a plan of what tournaments you will be playing?
Will you be there for the Sky SPT? Do you get to play?
Finally assuming you are going, any plans for a diary, maybe posting some interesting hands with your insights? Always interesting for us mere mortals to see your thought processes. I am sure it would be good and create some traffic on the forum.

I asked him if he was going to Vegas this year-he thought he probably would not. Which is a shame-as well as being a thoroughly decent guy, he has a wealth of poker stories which are well worth hearing.
The answer is I'm not really totally sure if I'm going or not.
In terms of winning a seat I really would have liked to...Sky do a great job of looking after the players over there and I always have had fun when we've gone on our little coach trip on the strip or to Top Golf. I did ask a few years ago if it was Ok to play the sats but I think the worry was that I'd win one and people would moan that either it was a fix, (me not being generally good enough to win one), or that someone might say that I'd stopped them from having a chance to go...I guess the person who bubbled might not love Sky if I bust them.
I am tempted to go out and do that again this year but I've done nothing to plan for it.
Last year we had the World Cup and so I was going to bed at around 11pm every night and waking at 3am to do football bets and a couple of times a week to follow the UK racing and other sports. I did find this quite hard and it didn't really help my poker or make it a very relaxing trip. At the moment I am very much looking forward to the Derby and Royal Ascot and the thought of dealing with those things from a darkened hotel room in the early hours while trying not to wake up the Mrs does not appeal.
On top of all of that I feel very guilty that last year I flew back and forward to the States twice. In a world where we need to all take individual responsibility if we want to save the planet that can't be right. At home I recycle, I shop locally, I don't have a car, I eat less meat and I don't have any children and then with one flight I cancel out a lot of good work.
I may still go but right now I think it's a no.
Slightly off-topic here Mr C, but in respect of the bolded part, what were your views on a Europa League Final featuring two London Clubs being held in Baku, from a "green" perspective? OK, it was unforch that both clubs come from the west of Europe, but it's pretty unlikely that it would ever have featured 2 Teams from Eastern Europe. Adding up the carbon footprint of 2 teams + entourage, & X0,000 supports making the return trip, was pretty disastrous I thought.
I guess it doesn't happen much.
US sports are much worse...teams playing each other two days running at home and then away and 100s of people having to fly coast to coast for a few hours and then fly back...totally impractical and unnecessary and pretty immoral in this day and age. I did it last year and I feel bad about it three times a week.
It really would be great to see you out in VEGAS Neil, and I know we all have to take responsibility for our Planet and try and reduce our Carbon footprint as much as possible, but hopefully this wouldn't put you off joining the SKY Jamboree and playing a few WSOP tourneys, because the flights you would be catching will be going to and from Vegas anyway, and I'm sure you, Mrs C. and your luggage won't be using too much extra fuel...... and the weight TiKay, Pompeynic and the rest of the Fat Club boys who are going, have lost, will more than compensate.
Hope to see you out there.
Best wishes
