Morning.
I have been pleasantly surprised at how popular the horse race betting has been, so with no football of note for a few more days yet, we are off to the races again tonight.
I was rightly effusive about how beautiful both Ripon & Hexham are on a summer's evening, but it would be stretching credibility to suggest tonight's venue, Southwell, is even remotely nice, but the racing is competitive, & anyway, racehorses are magnificent creatures no matter where they race.
So, the 8.15 at Southwell it is.
