£8,000 Sharpshooter @ 8pm

Numbers were excellent in all the Headline MTT's last night. Be nice to think that tonight's Super Sunday will be as good, but I fear a bloodbath. Still, one never knows.

@cairns08 turned up for his first MTT in a week, & one-tabled to the win. Efficiency personified.

In 3rd & 6th respectively were @mkgunner & @StayOrGo who both possess those lovely Sharky Gold Stars.

@cairns08 2930000 1 £1164.67 + £148 Head Prizes 2

@JonTSnow 0 2 £694.41 + £165.23 Head Prizes 7

@mkgunner 0 3 £417.52 + £157.89 Head Prizes 5

@jambeyang 0 4 £329.62 + £116.83 Head Prizes 4

@Ciuda20k 0 5 £279.08 + £185.59 Head Prizes 9

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter @ 8.30pm

    Well done @brooklyn1 who had to beat 478 others to win this, which is quite an achievement off a rating of 55.

    @Gumble1 seems fairly new to Sky Poker MTT's, just 20 to his credit, so he'll be pleased too.

    @mufcscott1 0 2 £167.65 + £25.65 Head Prizes 5

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter @ 9pm

    The Bates would normally be pleased to get 3rd, but not when @cpfc_2010 gets the win. That musta hurt.

    The rest of the Final Table were all Usual Suspects.

    £1,000 Quickdraw @ 10.30pm

    38 runners for this, almost double the Guarantee. As regular readers will have noted, I'm a little fixated about the relationship between Guarantees & number of runners. The Guarantee for this was reduced to £1,000 recently after missing for 11 straight nights, but the last 2 nights have left the old (50% higher) Guarantee in the rear-view mirrors. All very interesting, or it is to me. If last night's Guarantee had been £1,000, £1,500, £or 2,000, would there have been more or less runners, I can't help but wonder?

    @ABDNBLUE 190000 1 £380 + £308.97 Head Prizes 7

    @BHudson 0 2 £237.50 + £200.39 Head Prizes 8

    @TTayseer 0 3 £142.50 + £65.63 Head Prizes 3

    @Gambelo 0 4 £104.50 + £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @Kristofer 0 5 £85.50 0

    @tracyswise 0 6 £56.25 Head Prizes 3

    Friday & Saturdays seem to be by far the best night, numbers wise , for the Quickdraw. Can't the guarantee just be increased to £1.5k/£2k for those 2 nights & drop it down for the rest of the week?

    Well yes, it could, but it was left at £1,000 last night & still made £1,900. Which begs the question, why bother increasing it? MUCH less risk to the Business at £1,000, obv, so negligible downside & a ton of upside. That was my point really.

    There are just my idle musings by the way, I don't really have a position on Guarantees here generally.
