Can we knock a couple of seconds off the time to act in each hand for the Rewards Freeroll please?
The payout structure, where there's quite significant jumps in the payouts with a large # of runners remaining (£1 --> £2 --> £4 --> £10 --> £20 for less than 1k runners, £1 --> £2 --> £3 --> £4 --> £10 --> £20 with over 1k) encourages more stalling than the average MTT, the structure is already pretty crapshooty with 5 minute blind levels and no filler levels, then everyone tanks like crazy near any of the payout jumps so you're barely getting a level an orbit.
It's not good for the game if loads of people are stalling like crazy, nor is the full time to act required when super shallow later on and a lot of the field are recs who aren't multitabling.
I don't think changing the other things makes much sense - Making the tournament less 'crapshooty' just means people are playing a freeroll longer, thus not paying rake when they could be playing something else. Besides, the turbo 'crapshootyness' makes it quite enjoyable (especially given lack of antes... *flogs dead horse*)
Meanwhile, the odd payout structure makes it different from other MTTs out there, and presumably is there with the goal of rewarding a larger % of the field than usual to keep people logging in every night then playing with their winnings.
However I think reducing time to act per hand is a change that would improve this game while also not impacting the payouts or duration of the MTT, or majorly affecting how the tournament plays besides getting more hands/level.
Thoughts?
