Been to Vegas many times and miss the thrill when we don't go. Reading your posts make up for it. Always feel better when you bring back more $ than you went with so good luck at the tables.
I really enjoy the updates @Tikay10 I have never been to Vegas saying that I didn't try to win a seat as I didn't think I would be able to go with my current health issues.
Dreamliner is good eh? I remember being sat at the wing and bricking it when I seen how much they moved.
It's well scary to look at. When the 'plane is on the ground, the wing is "flat" & parallel to the ground.
Here's the wing "at rest";
As the plane gains speed & height, the wings just bend up. 9 yards. Every time. And then bend back down again. It's beyond my understanding how the wings are constructed to stand such forces, especially when you consider the design life of a 787 is probably around 35 years.
And of course that's how an aircraft flies - that's "lift".
My one trip to Vegas...my wife went to bed so popped down for a cash game at around 23.00, planning to stop and 02:00 no matter what
1$ buyin...first 50$ went in a few hands, 2nd 50$ went up to around 330$....01:45 thinking hmmm soon be finishing and maybe buying dinner tomorrow on Vegas
I'm dealt AK....bets went 5, 10, 20, call....flop was rainbow AK and 6 spades...American guy bets 20$, I 3 bet 60$( I want to keep him interested..and calling) He shoves, I call ; he's got 58 spades and he is gutted....runner runner spades and I've gone to bed early with nowt but a great memory
keep the updates coming Tikay, love reading them. I believe the Orleans is running daily tournaments similar to Golden Nugget i.e $150 entry with a 25k guarantee. Do you know if this is correct? want to go there on 24th if true
Thank you for the updates Tikay always fun to read off to UK's Las Vegas next week Blackpool will meet up with a few Sky poker players and have some fun.

Good Lord. I confess, I'm a pool party virgin, and I don't expect that to change.
But I'll try & post some nice weather-related photos during future Vegas blogs.
As you can imagine, it's blisteringly hot here, but on Friday I'll be going up Mt Charlston, about a 30 minute drive from Vegas, & even now, in June, they have snow up there.
Raining in Blighty? Yes, so I believe. I talk to my Gill every day, (she lives in Stoke), & she keeps me updated with weather. She arrives here on Thursday, on the inbound Thos Cook flight from Manchester that takes many of the Sky Poker qualifiers back home. (Perfect timing, huh?)
Within hours of her arrival, I'm off to play poker, though she does not know that yet, but I'll make it up to her on Friday by taking her to Mt Charlston for breakfast al fresco.
Thanks TK, great updates as always! Have a great time in US of A, say hello to Misty @MISTY4ME for me and tell him I want my £40 back!( joking of course..)
Ryder Cup still too close to call...pity we have been stripped of our better players in Vegas....oh and Jez as well!!

Yesterday I wrote this;
"....Don't mind if there's no feedback or interaction,...."
And it's true. At my age, ego has long gone, & I just try to do things as well as I can, & if nobody replies or interacts, so be it.
Having said that, it feels so good when there are a few comments, & it's really appreciated.
