Why would you shove all in with the nuts and fold out everything your beating?? Surely a small bet is the order of the day to give hands like yours the best chance to pay off.

His K K story really doesn't hold weight under scrutiny, unless hes an inexperienced player or hes trying to make you think hes missed and is trying to buy the pot and induce a call that way.

Im probably paying off between 25% and 50% of pot with your hand.

Figured with 4 to a straight on the river too many hands beating me, so not want to pay off - but yes I can call here sometimes, especially if I've seen villain pulling this stunt before.

Talking of value shoves - even if over pot - they work all the time at nl4, I use them if I've tagged a weaker player and get paid off crazy light sometimes. Some players will stack off repeatedly like this, maybe the mindset of "he can't have it again??" kicks in?
