With the wonderfully thrilling Women's World Cup Semi-Final between England & USA on terrestrial TV last night, Sky Poker breathed a sigh of relief when so many preferred instead to play poker, & all the headline Guarantees were met.
Who'd have ever thought people would prefer to play poker than watch Women's football?

£6,000 Main
Persistence paid off for the winner who tried to win his seat via a satellite. That never worked, so he paid in like a regular Joe & ended up TID with the MOF.Bad start to the evening for Ciuda20k who bubbled the Sunday Major Freeroll, but a few hours later ran 2nd in this, winning enough to enter the Sunday Major many times over.
For the third night on the bounce, the self-styled "loved villain" clock123 had a big result, 3rd in the Main this time. Sky Poker must like him. Or maybe he's just good. Or lucky. 2 out of 3 then?
Playing an MTT here for the first time in over a week W1SHBONE took 5th, whilst 6th placed blueberr27 won his seat in a £6.60 satellite, so that all turned out rather nicely.

After being MTT-AWOL for the entire month of June, sullivan22 returned to the fray & booked a nice win. Play more, sullivan.
patchy89 collected £230+ in 2nd, then took to the Turbo DYM Tables & won 3 from 4. If only poker were always so easy.
In 3rd was another infrequent visitor, returning after a 2 week absence to get on the bottom step of the podium.

£6,000 Summit
Our boring accountant friend scooped this one to help balance the books. On which note it's worth mentioning that he endured a torrid downswing a few months back. Nothing odd in that, it happens to every single poker player, & with great regularity, that's how poker is. Matt being Matt he took it on the chin though, like a proper grown-up. Take note those who point the finger at the RNG, at Sky Poker, their Staff, and anything else they can think of rather than being man enough to accept what the great game of poker throws at us. Poker has no favourites or friends, it treats us all the same, & it's a fickle mistress. Some can handle it, others not so much.
In 2nd was - err, well take a look. I honestly don't know what to say or think about those sort of aliases. I'm sure there's an innocent explanation.
