A very good Monday morning to you all.
Before we get started, we need to address the matter of non-runners & Starting Prices when we do Horse Racing. I'll be opening a thread this morning to canvass views, opinions & feedback. We'll let that run for a day or two, & then implement whatever is decided. Please note we can't please everyone, but we'll try & make it fair, fun & inclusive.

For TODAY, &/or until we've reached concensus on how to handle non-runners & Starting Prices, this is what we will do in the event of a non-runner. (NR).
1) If you select a non-runner, you are free to select a different horse to replace it. (If time permits).
2) If your horse is a NR & you do not change it, your bet for that today will be VOID. So your running total will remain unchanged & you'll not win or lose. Your selection will NOT auto transfer to the favourite.
3) Prices will be shown in the Opening Posts as usual, but these will be indicative only. All "bets" will be settled at SP. If there is a Rule 4 Deduction, then winning selections will have their winnings adjusted to allow for the Rule 4.
So that's what we will do today. Please look out for the separate thread where we can discuss the best way forward. Please do NOT make comments or suggestions on this thread, let's keep this for entries & results only.
