    Thought I would give this a go, watched the first episode and thought I had seen it before, then I remembered a Sky Atlantic show I watched a couple of years ago set in New York called 'The Night Of....'

    I'm guessing the American version is a copy of this one as it seemed more modern.

    Good watch though.
