Numbers a little flat last night, though everything covered, with the exception of the SPT Brighton Semi which was cancelled due to insufficient numbers. These now require 6 runners to start. It used to be fewer, (or do I mean "less"?), but unfortunately this was being abused so had to be increased.

    £6,000 Predator Main (£6,240)

    Cash1no in the money again & has had a decent July. 2nd in Sheriff on the 1st of the month, winning Sheriff on the 11th, & now adding the Main to his July CV. Impressive stuff.

    Runner-up BLUEBIRD is having a tidy week too, adding this to his 5th in the Mini on Tuesday.

    £1,500 Predator Mini (£1,880)

    This might have been one of the best results pokeesock has had on Sky Poker, well done Mr Sock.

    If you play a lot of MTT's you'll know that no matter how good - or bad - you are, good & bad results will come in batches. That's certainly the case for waller02 who is on a bit of a 2 month upswing. I'm convinced that setting targets & maybe keeping a public Diary, which makes us accountable, really helps in this regard.

    @pokeesock 752000 1 £237.35 + £71.04 Head Prizes 11

    @sadierose 0 2 £138.18 + £6.90 Head Prizes 2

    @waller02 0 3 £83.66 + £17.68 Head Prizes 6

    @CoxyMate 0 4 £66.93 + £35.21 Head Prizes 6

    @CrazyHorse 0 5 £56.40 + £2.34 Head Prizes 1

    @Street23 0 6 £45.97 + £40.07 Head Prizes 10

    TommyD was probably still sulking after Spurs lost Trippier because he wanted to play for a big club that can win trophies.

    @TommyD 0 7 £35.72 + £14.01 Head Prizes 4

    pizzaman92 was 3rd in the Mini on Tuesday, & was not far shy of that last night.

    @pizzaman92 0 8 £26.32 + £26.53 Head Prizes 8

    BOOM.

    I'm sure nobody would begrudge @IrishRose this win. I have a feeling she's run bad at the tables lately, but she's all enthusiasm & I bet this win felt good. Hopefully, that means we'll see her in Brighton, too. Well done Rose.

    SPT Brighton Semi (Did not run)

    A little unfortunate this, just 5 registered at kick off time. It just happened that a Quarter which would have produced 3 more runners, & so enabled it to run, finished a little too late & reg had closed.

    It was such a shame that the Semi cancelled with 3 seats going begging, and I'm pretty sure it would have fallen short of the Guarantee, so it was a very good opportunity. I was one of the last 4 in the quarter, so I joined the Semi, and was trying to get at least one of the other 3 players to join so that it would go ahead, and obviously 3 out of 4 of us would qualify and there was £10.50 for 4th too.
    Sadly one of the All-in winners was playing the All-ins for cash, and de-registered from Semi after he won an All-in.

    Would it be at all possible to move the Quarter-Final forward by at least 5 minutes, so that it has more chance of finishing before the Semi starts and hopefully will ensure it goes ahead? .... :)

    FANTASTIC RESULT Roseeeeee!!!!! @IrishRose ..... and a GREAT performance to top that Final Table...... and WELL DONE on your FT at the live event the other day too.

    Hope to see you at Brighton (with your $$$), if I can win at least one seat.... I hear Donna (DarkAngel) might be coming down.... the Sheffield Invasion is growing!

    I like the last line of your post @Tikay10...... Sounds good to me ;):)

    @MISTY4ME I probably didn’t have my chat box open during the quarter and didn’t realise the semi was short of players, otherwise I would have regged, will keep an eye next time.

    Thanks all for the good wishes. I've been playing really badly in the Brighton SPT semi game (even worse than usual!) and have been playing on phone instead of computer so can't chat in the chat box and think I get bored too easily. My son has now managed to reset the router so I'll be back on computer this week.

    I was thrilled to win the 9pm game last night as it's my favourite game on the site. I was also lucky enough last weekend to finish 6th in the Pokerstars Hippodrome £150 megastack event in London which was my first "proper" poker session since my husband sadly passed away last month.

    I will be kidnapping Darkangel and dragging her to Brighton for the SPT even if I don't win a seat so look forward to meeting up with you all then.

    No worries @chrisdonkb ....... I was hoping you would see, as I know you'd understand the need for someone else to buy-in.

    WELL DONE in the Sheriff too :)
