Can anyone explain what's going on here? (Baseball question). Beware, bad language.

Ump having a dodgy start to the game, manager lets him know that (which you aren’t really meant to do in baseball - it isn’t football) and gets “thrown out”. Actually pretty common

This guy gives a good breakdown, would recommend all his other videos if you found this one interesting

The New York Yankees, the team batting, have a very very good batting line up. On this occasion it appears that they are unhappy with how the home plate umpire is calling strikes and balls. You can see one of their players taking out his frustrations in the dugout behind the manager. To protect his players, from being ejected, which will hurt the balance of the team and to put pressure on the umpires, a manager will often engage and argue with the officials.
If the umpire feels the manager has gone too far he can, as he does here, throw the manager out of the game (show him a red card if you will) and the manager has to leave the field and go back to the club house.
There is a very famous incident, going back a few years, where Bobby Valentine, the manager of the New York Mets is thrown out of a game. Later on he sneaks back into the dugout wearing a false moustache.

    Rounders?, splutter. Rounders...cue apoplectic episode.

Heretic. Prepare the stake and get the firewood.

Yes baseball is somewhat popular amongst males in the US.

Although as almost every baseball fan outside of The Yankees, hates them (think Man Utd with football fans in England except the South east) seeing their manager getting ejected is really funny.

    Go Mets.
