Traffic remains decent for the time of year, all things considered, & the 4 headliners all covered nicely. SPT Brighton did slightly better, with 14, but still slightly shy of target.
Quick reminder, SPT Brighton satellites finish this Sunday.
The win went to the versatile mkgunner, who seems equally adept at both Heads Up & MTT's. 80% of his volume is in SNG's, & he makes good money at them, but he does just as well in MTT's. It's a rare bird that makes good money in those two formats.
Runner-up godofpok was probably having his best ever result on Sky Poker from a small sample size.
A busy day for 5th placed cjy who made no less than 4 Final Tables.
@mkgunner 1155000 1 £935.55 + £267.05 Head Prizes 5
peter27 will have been chuffed to bits to win this. He's a really good learner, & working hard to improve his game, but he tends to look at results short-term, which is completely the wrong way to look at MTT returns. He learns fast though, & he'll get there for sure.
That's a really nice score for MrWh1te too, so I daresay he treated himself to a drink last night. Don't tell anyone though.
Hi @Tikay10 Last night I decided to have my first proper poker in what seems ages, and so I bought into 3 MTT's, all low value, and the £1k FR. I cashed in the other 3 mtt's. Then there was the mini-marksman. I felt I was playing well and was feeling confident, was top 30 most of the game, top 5 at one point but with 20 left it was a bit tight. I didn't get the hands and felt like just getting to the last 20 was a victory in itself. I managed somehow to cling on, get my money in in good spots and eventually got heads up (around 8 left we were joking at the table that it would be good if I could turtle for a final table) so to get heads up was good. Going into HU, it was my 200k v @peter27 600k so I knew one double up and I was back in it. The HU lasted 1 hand. Earlier in the game I had joked that he would probably beat my aces with 72o. Then first hand in HU I get 72. I think he limped and the flop came 745. Cant find how to work out the hand but I think I shoved and we ended up all in on flop. he has the 4, and rivered a third and that was me done.
Peter dominated the last 3 tables and I enjoyed the chat, he totally deserved to win. I didn't get a chance to tell you last night, but well played mate. Hope to meet you on more final tables!

You got extremely unlucky with that river, and I ran like god for most of the tournament. Really enjoyed sharing the tables with you, and thanks for the very kind words.
