Really good numbers (for August) last night, with the 5 Headliners - I've included the 7.30pm £6k BH today - coming in 37% above Guarantee. Lovely job.

    £6,000 BH @ 7.30pm (£8,700)

    chrisdonkb continues to impress, collecting over £1,400 here, after a quiet week by his standards, though he did run 5th in Hitman a few days ago. He has won 2 seats to SPT Brighton, so all being we'll we'll see him this weekend.

    Strong FT this, with railtard, lool & BooBooTheB all featuring.

    Mention must go to TURN_IT_In, this was an exceptional result for him.

    Well done to coo1_um in 10th.

    waller02 was 11th, & wrote this on his Diary subsequently;

    "Really mixed emotions right now. I guess I should be happy but I can't help feeling a tad annoyed with myself.
    I've had a great night overall, running deep in more than half of the games I played, but in the £33 BH I went from 3/11 to busting out in 11th due to 2 mistakes. I hate losing like that, if it's KK

    How's that for an honest self-appraisal? So many poker players give it the "woe is me, I'm so unlucky" thing.

    £12,000 Sunday Major (£15,900)

    HAYSIE won this. Yes, THE HAYSIE.

    How do these things happen? I know I have some banter with the old fella, but to win the Sunday Major when aged over 80 is an extraordinary achievement. OK, he's obdurate & cantankerous, but most old people are, especially the Welsh. Very well done Tony.

    Runner-up braddo seems to be the NKOTB, & what a week he has had. He won Quickdraw exactly a week ago, was 6th in Summit on Tuesday, 4th in Sheriff on Wednesday, but 2nd here for £2,544 eclipsed all those results. If Sharky is correct (not always the case) his current ROI is 97%, admittedly over a small (223) sample size.

    In 3rd, Bax082 qualified via a £24 Sat, & walked away with £1,447. Nice.

    @HAYSIE 1590000 1 £4372.50

    miniman is making up for time lost due to holidays & after winning Friday's Avenger, so nearly made another Final.

    Good to see Mudshark playing an MTT, he spends most of his time playing DYM's where he's a formidable presence.

    miniman just managed to sneak into the money, as this got 40 runners last night, surely the biggest Quickdraw field in many a month?
