Here's a quick reminder of the timetable for SPT Brighton;


Day 1A Flight
Friday 9th August
Play commences at 16:00
Late registration open until 22:00
Play concludes at 01:00am




Day 1B Flight
Saturday 10th August
Play commences at 14:00
Late registration open until 20:00
Play concludes at 23:00pm



Day 2 - Final Day
Sunday 11th August
Play commences at 13:00
Late registration closed
Play estimated to conclude around 01:00am

Players are reminded to arrive early please, as you have to register with the cash desk before your chips are in play even if you have already won a seat. If you poll up at 4pm on Friday, or 2pm on Saturday, chances are you will not be in for the start of play.

We had no problems last year, but in 2017 we had huge queues at Brighton, with the Alternate List taking up to 6 hours to get seated. It was fine last year, but my advice would be arrive at least half an hour before scheduled start time if you want to be in from the very start.

Hi Tikay,
I’m going to be playing Friday but doubt i’ll be there before 6pm, is there anyway to pre-register one of my seats i’ve won so then potentially I won’t be on a long alternative list? And then all I should need to do is sign up with casino when I arrive.

Hi mate,

Not sure there is any way round that, but leave it with me & if there IS a big Alternates List (possible, but far less likely this year), we'll see if something can be done.

Thanks; these are great events, well organised and the people are great fun so really disappointed I'm missing both this and Notts...yes my good lady didn't consult and she booked a week's holiday that weekend...

So the big one at Manc is a must to try to get to! Especially if the rumour mill of the the Stars/possible demise of the SPT's are a possibility..pity if it becomes a reality
