The best football we could find tonight was Solihull Moors v Eastleigh, which did not sound much fun, so we will go up to Cartmel for some horse racing. Then, from Tuesday onwards, it's football every night.
Cartmel only hold 9 Meetings per year, all one-dayers as far as I know, & today is the last one for 2019.
It's up in Cumbria, & might just be the prettiest racecourse in Great Britain.
It was also the scene of the most famous betting coup ever staked in the UK, involving a "ringer" for the real horse which went by the name of Gay Future.

Look at those jockeys in a two bit race at Cartmel - Paddy Broderick (of Night Nurse fame), Tommy Stack, Jonjo O'Neill. Incred.
I'll have a read of that Racing Post article later, when I've done my jobs.
