As Friday nights go, was a very quiet one. 2 of the Big 4 missed Guarantee, thankfully not by much, & overall, the 4 Prize Pools only beat Guarantee by 7%.
The SPT Semi had just 11 runners.

Limp2Lose was beaten into 2nd, & that was to prove much more expensive then he imagined at the time, more of which later.

Congrats go to @goldnballz, that will be a popular result as he seems well-liked by all, & he later ran 3rd in Midnight Express too.His win won't be too popular with Limp2Lose though, as it prevented an even bigger Final Table Jackpot. Limp2Lose collected £1,500 for running 2nd in both Main & Mini, one spot higher in either was worth an extra £1,000, win both & he'd have collected £5,000. Ooh, he hit the crossbar twice.

Well this win made it 3 Finals & 2 wins in 3 Nights, including winning Sheriff on consecutive nights. Clearly Sky Poker set the RNG high for him as he's a favoured player. Apparently.
The cleverly named K9HANDLER was the meat in the sandwich between The Bates & his good friend TommyD. The last-named will be hoping Spurs beat Palace today. Don't bet on it Tommy, I think you are in for a tough season.

bigpoy enjoyed his best result since running 3rd in the Sunday Major in late July.Runner-up 59pockets attended the Manchester SPT 2 years ago, but we've heard very little of him since.
In 3rd was mcg899 who will be disappointed, as when he makes a Final he more often than not wins. Prior to last night he had made 6 "Big 4" Final Tables in September & won no less than 5 of them. Amazing run that, very well done.

father55 was playing his first MTT in September, and manosalex was winning his 2nd SPT Notts seat.
The big news though was waller02 booking his passage to Nottingham, I'm sure many of the regulars will give the guy a great welcome as he's extremely popular on the Forum & always quick to praise the efforts of others.

There are quite a few of us staying at Travelodge Riverside and sharing cabs to the venue, if it makes any difference to where you stay. The WPT at DTD is the same weekend, so might be advisable to book hotels early.
I've already booked the hotel, good job too as I didn't realise it was the WPT the same weekend. We are staying at the Holiday Inn. I'm not trying to win any more seats, just having the one shot on the Saturday then if I bust I can take the missus for a meal or something.
I have no access to the Files which list who is Platinum (or any other band) Priority, but if he is Platinum, yes, he'd get an extra 20%. I'll mention it to Upstairs.

I understand that the £1,800 has been authorised this morning, so it will be in his account very shortly, if not already.
