Yes he seems pretty busy, so probably didn't read through it thoroughly/cross reference the sheet, and see what we were getting at.

Just a thought @StayOrGo, @MAXALLY, @vaigret..... what if we do as Tikay's Forum comp does and 'fine' a player £1 for each race missed. I think that would be fairer personally, and there wouldn't be any disputes then.

I have talked about this before, but with it going on for a year, didn't want to overly penalise people when they are away.
There would still have been a dispute if QUEEN'S SARGENT had won anyway.
That's why we have the 70% rule.
Normally works fine as long as there is not a disparity between what is on the sheet and what is on the thread.
I guess we can make a rule, going forward, that the thread is final. But we'll leave @spartathen P/L as is for now.
However, going forward, the thread will take precedence when there is a disparity provided it is entered prior to the race in question commencing.

I actually meant on the days like yesterday with Spartathen (and when you overslept) if you still wanted to enter 3, 4.5, or 6 selections, you got fined £1 for each race you missed.
Yes, originally the "rule" was all or none. But then I set the president when I only did four selections. I wasn't going to enter any, but was encouraged by most the lads to do so.
I think in general it should be all or none, but on occasions we can allow late entries.
(Would be hypocritical of me not too)
Hopefully people (including myself) will get up in time, from now on.
I am aware that it's all for a bit of fun, so don't want to get too regimented about it. If people post late partial entries, it's not the end of the world, the most important thing is that the entries on the thread match those on the sheet, this was the problem, not the late entry in itself.

ok if you happy Im happy still dont see how you could have selected Queens Sargent and entered it at 2.15 after it had run and lost at 2pm. That really is being honest!!!!
