The BBC Countryfile Calendar competition has kicked up a twitter storm,as the winning photograph was revealed to have been 'staged' in the winners conservatory.All the other entrants seemed to show scenes capturing natural environments,viewers who were asked to vote for their favourite entry,were not told beforehand the circumstances and are now furious that they seem to have been misled.Perhaps it's a sign of middle age that I'm posting this but the other entrants must also be feeling a bit cheated by it all.

Don't see the problem really. It's just lovely to see animals so well photographed.

Unsure if I'm comfortable with a staged shot winning.

Definitely don't think this deserved to win.
The tail looks like it has been photoshopped on afterwards. And not very well.

I think most of the complaints are that the photo was not captured in a natural setting and the fact that it used captive mice to get the shot. Not very countryfile more conservatoryfile.
