Can barely believe we are covering this match, but the alternatives - Russia v Scotland & Netherlands v Northern Ireland - looked worse from a betting perspective. Hopefully, it will be better than the Stockport v Hartlepool dirge we had to suffer on Wednesday.
If I were asked to show on a map exactly where Slovakia is, I'd fail for sure, though in my defence, when I was at school Slovakia did not even exist. So I had to google it today, & I gather it is a landlocked country, bordered by Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Hungary & Czech Republic. Fascinating. Ish.
I have a rough idea where Wales is though, sort of down & left a bit from Liverpool.
The star of the Welsh football team of course is Gareth Bale, the fella who earns around £300,000 per week at Real Madrid but is still not happy.
