Very quiet night last night, & after Sunday's numbers came in 27% above Guarantees, last night they barely covered, just 3%.
The Main missed by a dozen or so runners, & Quickdraw was one short. Mere flesh wounds, but even so, overlay is burning money.
The Rewards Freeroll bounced back to a very healthy 901 entries though, so that ticks a box & it's not all doom & gloom.

This is all a little tenuous, but I'm always pleased to see Woebegone do well as his alias so reminds me of the wonderful books & radio broadcasts back in the day by Garrison Keiller. His weekly Radio Show lasted an astonishing 42 years.
Sadly, Garrison, often described as a "genius" (& his writing really was was truly wonderful), went a bit funny upstairs, & multiple allegations of inappropriate sexual misconduct were levelled against him. In fact he went wrong in all sorts of ways, & it all ended rather badly for him.
Anyway, apologies for the diversion, & well done Woebegone.
Note that Ozzieowen was 18th, & we shall return to him later.

So, 18th in the Main, 4th in the Mini, & then won Sheriff. Bravo ozzie.
Runner-up was CxE1. I put THE most fearful beat on him at SPT Notts, when I misjudged the strength of his hand & jammed over the top with my A-J. He insta-called with A-K, & I was doing the Irish Rose Stand Up routine until the River when a Jack miraculously arrived. Oops.
Please to see kidgirlgy make this final too. Sue was at SPT Notts, & I spent a very happy afternoon sat next to husband Dave until I was moved due to table balancing.

The ozzieowen roadshow rolled on. 18th in the Main, 4th in the Mini, won Sheriff & then won this for back to back wins in £50-ers. Add in 2nd for £140 in the 10pm BH, & 5th for £35 in a BH at 10.45 and it all adds up to a spectacular night for ozzie. Well done bud, that's some going.
