Who won what on UKOPS Day 1 (Friday October 25th)

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 172,066

A very good morning to you.

Sky Poker MTT's have been trundling along OK of late, mostly meeting Guarantees, but nothing stellar, so with £33,000 of Guarantees on offer across 6 events, UKOPS Day One must have been causing a furrowed brow or two in Sky Poker Towers.

They need not have worried, the Sky Poker faithful turned out in droves, & all 6 UKOPS events covered comfortably. 8 more days like that & the job's a good 'un.

In total, Prize Pools (£43,200) beat Guarantees (£33,000) by 31%.

    UKOPS 01 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£4,600)

    No surprise to see luckme002 book the win. 2nd in Summit on Tuesday, 3rd in Sheriff on Wednesday, & now adds a UKOPS win to his week. He currently heads the "Scheduled MTT's played on Sky Poker in 2019" with close to 12,000 played already. And to save you working that out, my abacus tells me that equates to an average 40 MTT's every day. Good Lord.

    Nice start for EBBERDON too, in 5th.

    @luckme002 690000 1 £609.50 + £222.31 Head Prizes 11

    @JonTSnow 0 2 £363.40 + £69.79 Head Prizes 4

    UKOPS 02 £15,000 Bounty Hunter (£17,300)

    This was the night's Main Event.

    Last spotted in a Daily Results thread in March, Rhythm1991 found the method to win by, & with winnings of almost £3,400, no doubt a timely withdrawal is imminent.

    The rest of the Final Table are all well-known serial-cashers. JessieAK had a 2nd & 1st in Quickdraw on Wednesday & Thursday.

    In 3rd was @albania, playing his first MTT's here since April, which was also in UKOPS. Prior to that, his previous games were in the UKOPS in November last year, so I guess he only plays the Festivals.

    @Rhythm1991 1730000 1 £2378.75 + £1007.25 Head Prizes 8

    @Jessieak 0 2 £1435.90 + £189.25 Head Prizes 2

    @albania 0 3 £882.30 + £477.67 Head Prizes 6

    @railtard11 0 4 £700.65 + £468.75 Head Prizes 8

    @Super_Oli 0 5 £596.85 + £410.15 Head Prizes 6

    UKOPS 03 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£8,230)

    What a turn-out for the Day 1 UKOPS equivalent of the Mini, with a whopping 554 Uniques & 269 re-entries. The Prize Pool ended up at £8,230, which is bigger than the Main Event Guarantee on most non-UKOPS nights.

    The win went to juby19, and his only previous mention in these threads was in September, when he ran 4th in Gold Rush Main.

    UKOPS specialist & C&D winner Sharki0 was runner-up.

    6th was HUMPTY1966, not to be confused with @hhyftrftdr.

    @juby19 2469000 1 £987.60 + £196.87 Head Prizes 18

    @Sharki0 0 2 £539.07 + £16.05 Head Prizes 3

    @Twiggy28 0 3 £318.91 + £64.61 Head Prizes 7

    @Mistab 0 4 £253.07 + £148.37 Head Prizes 14

    @alfarch30 0 5 £209.87 + £56.18 Head Prizes 8

    UKOPS 04 £3,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£4,600)

    On Thursday, @Jaystac won a 79 runner BH, an SPT Manchester Grand Final Seat & a seat to last night's UKOPS Main Event. The Main Event did not go to plan, 120th, but he took down the Mega Stack. Nice to see a bit of form when it really matters, & fingers crossed he's not done yet.

    The entire Final Table were familiar names most of whom use our Community, including Wacko90, Angmar2626 who had been really looking forward to UKOPS, Allan23, who's a proper good guy, & bluecall07 who won Sheriff a fortnight ago.

    5th was a gooner, @miniman88, getting his challenge v @chrisdonkb off to a flyer. Slow start for Chris, but I understand he believes he can give miniman a decent start & still beat him with ease. If he does, you can expect some serious chirping.

    @Jaystac 2300000 1 £617.78 + £249.23 Head Prizes 14

    @Wacko90 0 2 £368.69 + £110.01 Head Prizes 6

    @Angmar2626 0 3 £219.88 + £21.09 Head Prizes 2

    @Allan23 0 4 £172.96 + £110.76 Head Prizes 8

    @miniman88 0 5 £147.20 + £56.09 Head Prizes 3

    @bluecall07 0 6 £123.28 + £94.12 Head Prizes 8

    Great write-up Tikay.

    Really good to see guarantees getting smashed across the board and "Rhythm1991 found the method" definitely deserves some love :).

    Wahooo a mention! Must admit being a low stakes man it’s a relief to get a sizeable cash early doors - not gonna be stuck hundreds for ukops now!

    Very nice cash Allan, well played.

    Hope you enjoyed the game today :D
