Who won what on UKOPS Day FIVE (Tuesday October 29th)

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 172,070

Morning.

Last night saw the halfway point of this iteration of UKOPS, & it's not going too badly so far.

Somewhat ambitiously, there were back to back £15,000 Guaranteed MTT's last night (High Roller & Main) and so I suppose it was not a huge surprise that the latter missed by £1,000. It was only the 2nd of this series of UKOPS to miss Guarantee (so far) so I don't think the Suits will be hurling themselves from their 6th floor windows in Sky Towers yet.

Interestingly (which as regular readers know means the exact opposite) Tuesday is, historically, a very good night for Online Poker, in fact at one point it was the most popular night, and whilst that may not still be true, it remains a busy night. (Hence we usually have the £6,000 Summit every Tuesday).

One quick piece of info whilst I have your attention is that there have been some changes to UKOPS Satellites, especially to the 10pm £55er & to the High Rollers. There has been quite a bit of "flipping", so the Guaranteed seats have had to be reduced. The overlay from these caused by flippers is in fact greater than the overlay from the entire UKOPS schedule so far, which is quite a stat.

OK, let's get started.

    UKOPS 26 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£4,060)

    What a start to the evening. Many of you have been following the UKOPS match bet between miniman88 & chrisdonkb, and it was miniman who was the first to win a event outright after taking this. Don't write chrisdonkb off yet though, we are only halfway & he won't be giving up any time soon. In fact, I predict chrisdonkb will outdo miniman tonight, as miniman, who is a Gooner, will have one eye on the Liverpool Arsenal game, in which the Arsenal can expect a proper spanking.

    Runner-up 1317 was playing his first MTT here for 9 days. He's actually been with Sky Poker over 8 years, & initially it was all a bit uphill for him., but since 2016 he seems to have done rather well.

    @miniman88 609000 1 £545.26 + £208.41 Head Prizes 7

    @1317 0 2 £325.41 + £97.63 Head Prizes 6

    UKOPS 27 £15,000 High Roller B/Hunter (£16,200)

    I had expected the High Roller to miss Guarantee & the Main to hit, but I got that wrong, was t'other way round, & this one got there with 6 entries to spare.

    We had a popular winner too, with cpfc_2010 collecting the better part of £4,000. It also completed a terrific 3-2-1 for him, having run 3rd in UKOPS 13, 2nd in UKOPS 20 & now 1st in UKOPS 27. He would not have to wait long to extend the sequence to 4-3-2-1, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

    In 3rd, enjoying his 4th UKOPS Final Table in 5 nights was albania.

    That man miniman was in sparkling form again, 5th here after winning the opener, & in fact that was worth more than the win he had earlier in terms of cash won.

    In 6th was Limp2Lose, who won the High Roller on Sunday.

    @cpfc_2010 810000 1 £2430 + £1487.75 Head Prizes 10

    @JaKino 0 2 £1620 + £437.91 Head Prizes 3

    @albania 0 3 £972 + £375.88 Head Prizes 4

    @Dutchninja 0 4 £810 + £500.40 Head Prizes

    @miniman88 0 5 £648 + £475.79 Head Prizes 4

    @Limp2Lose 0 6 £526.50 + £342.19 Head Prizes 4

    Just missing the Final table was GagginKs, returning to MTT action for the first time since Easter UKOPS. He was also 10th in Sunday's UKOPS Main.

    @GagginKs 0 7 £445.50 + £378.51 Head Prizes 4

    I managed to get a photo of cpfc_2010 whilst he was playing last night.

    UKOPS 28 £15,000 Bounty Hunter (£15,000)

    I'm fairly sure nobody will begrudge lolufold this win, he's been doing the business here since the very start, has no enemies in poker, & we last saw him up at an SPT recently.

    SenorBegs was 2nd, alancarr12 3rd, and yet another pile of money for cpfc_2020 in 4th.

    Danny @ItsOver4u ran 5th despite not taking a single Bounty, but still a spot ahead of jordz16 who took 10, which was the most by anyone.

    @lolufold 1400000 1 £2236 + £773.74 Head Prizes 7

    @SenorBegs 0 2 £1364 + £690.11 Head Prizes 8

    @alancarr12 0 3 £840 + £260.74 Head Prizes 5

    This went to grinddd, who last won a biggie a fortnight back when he took down the £6,000 BH that runs on Sundays at 7.30pm.

    The sun is shining in the sky & there ain't a cloud in sight for MRBLEWPIE in 2nd, with baDbEAteN (that's SO hard to type correctly) in 3rd.

    @grinddd 1773000 1 £738.75 + £262.29 Head Prizes 19

    UKOPS 30 £3,000 Bounty Hunter (£3,320)

    A FT full of players with a decent pedigree, with Kidpoke450 booking the win, ahead of TheSwan & The Bates.

    4th, 5th & 6th were BlairReid (who won UKOPS 22 on Monday), BigDane (winner of UKOPS 10 on Saturday) & nutcr4ck30 who has had a bunch of good results lately, the best of which was winning Avenger Main on October 18th.

    UKOPS 31 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£4,450)

    Mean Machine took this one, with the superbly named oj_limpsin 3rd.

    cpfc_2010 rounded off a fantastic night in 4th, so that's a win & two 4th places in a single evening. Just imagine how well he would do if he had any luck?

    In 5th was MAXALLY, making his 3rd FT of this UKOPS, whilst in 6th was jakescol who had such a good Day 4, & who heads the Total Player Leaderboard.

    @GSmith13 445000 1 £645.25 + £541.59 Head Prizes 10

    UKOPS 32 £2,500 Hyper Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,450)

    This £2,500 Guarantee Hyper Rebuy made a whopping £4,400.

    What a UKOPS roddy28 is having, 3 Final Tables on Sunday alone, & then the win here.

    There was a 2nd FT of the evening in 5th for lolufold, with good old Wacko90 in 6th.

    SPT Grand Final Quarter (20 entries)

    Quite a night for lolufold, who added a seat into Thursday's SPT sEmi to his earlier successes.

    1st and 2nd in the same event, highly commendable but surely some suspicion of multi accounting?

    Ooh, great spot, & I'm annoyed I missed it.

    What a great thing that is. Just looked at his Sharky graph, it's gone vertical this morning.

    Delighted for him, many congrats @Jakino.

    Thanks for mentioning it @MAXALLY , it's appreciated.

    Hi all,

    Really loving the Sky Poker experience. The community really makes it something a bit special. I am enjoying playing again after taking a break to study and get my game back to where I want it to be. Enjoying doing that on a new site as well. Thanks for the support on the rail last night everyone and VWP to @cpfc_2010 for taking it down what an absolute crusher!

    I'm not having a good day, am I?

    My apologies, you did of course also win UKOPS 20 on Monday.

    Even better, that means you have back-to-back wins on successive nights.

    Awesome work, very well done.

    @Tikay10 your work on the forum and in general for Sky is exemplary, I occasionally point out small mistakes as it shows that I have taken the time to read your posts and it's good to have some interaction, but in reality you do an amazing job.

    Anyway enough of that, any chance you can switch me to 'run good' please?

    I always appreciate it when my errors are pointed out Tuney, but it does make me cross with myself.

    Certainly happy to turn your BOOM switch on.
