Who won what on UKOPS Day NINE (Saturday November 2nd)

With it being the unofficial "Bonfire Night" the schedule & Guarantees were very modest last night, as everyone gears up for a very big final day.

Perhaps just as well, as despite Guarantees being an almost pedestrian £26,000, (the UKOPS average is £40,000 per day) it only covered by 13%. That's fine, of course, but it's certainly far from stellar.

The evening began with a little PLO tourney, which missed it's £2,000 guarantee by £300. Note that the only other 4 card event of UKOPS, the PLO8, also missed.

The Main & Mini both performed superbly, 20% above guarantee in both cases.

The 10pm £50er came in bang on the number, it needed 80 & got exactly that, whilst the closer covered by 10%.

Can't wait to see how things pan out today, Sunday. Saturday's guarantees totalled £26,000, tonight's come to an eye-watering £83,000. Eeek.

    UKOPS 52 £2,000 PLO (£2,000)

    After Dog Bloke won the PLO8 from miniman88, we discussed the oddity that good NLH players seem to excel at almost any format, whereas the reverse is far from true.

    And so it proved again last night, as lolufold, a superb NLH exponent, took down the PLO. He's not a PLO novice, far from it, but he's definitely not a PLO expert by any means. He's good enough to win at it though, as this proves.

    4th was James, @LmfaoAllin, & I'm not entirely sure what that proves, as he's equally useless at both NLH & PLO. And Darts, for that matter. And golf, probably.

    Very pleased to see engy run 6th.

    UKOPS 53 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£12,060)

    Hard to imagine a more popular winner of a UKOPS Main than TimmyRaRa. Magic. And he calls me "kid". For that alone, I'm so pleased for him. Not too many call me "kid".

    3rd was lyonsbob06, & it's a surprise to note this was only his 2nd FT of this UKOPS.

    UKOPS 54 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£6,130)

    Other than a small cash in early October, the winner has not graced a Results Thread since May 2014, back in the day when GaryQQQ used to do them so well.

    In 2nd was Danny, making his 3rd FT of the Series, which includes winning UKOPS 07 exactly a week ago.

    @amery08 0 6 £136.39 + £10.31 Head Prizes 2

    I kept an eye on the various lobbies all evening, & for a long time it looked like Plumpy was going to win this, but he eventually ran out of puff & failed to stay the distance, a little like Man City this season.

    Methuselah, aka Solack had another very fine run.

    MADMOO is a real blast from the past, sadly we have not seen her on the Forum for over a year now.

    UKOPS 55 £3,000 Bounty Hunter (£3,020)

    A first win of the Series for gadgerno1, though I should add it's only the 3rd event he has played. Very good player indeed.

    In 4th was destinycod who started the series in scintillating form but had gone a little cold subsequently.

    @gadgerno1 453000 1 £422.05 + £285.95 Head Prizes 15

    UKOPS 56 £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£4,000)

    A first FT of the series for manosalex, ahead of the rampant roddy28, who looks well placed to finish top of the UKOPS Total Player Leaderboard.

    Plenty of heavy hitters lined up behind these two, including Gambelo mccg899 jonnyrkd & fitness fanatic Dog Bloke.

    @manosalex 400000 1 £600 + £358.17 Head Prizes 6

    @roddy28 0 2 £400 + £256.65 Head Prizes 8

    UKOPS 57 £2,000 Hyper Bounty Hunter (£2,200)

    Kidpoke450 was winning a 2nd UKOPS of this series, very well played Mr Poke.

    The fruits of his hard work are already becoming evident as Ryan finished 4th. Once he has had a little more coaching I look forward to seeing him have a super successful Xmas UKOPS. If there is one, of course...

    SPT Grand Final Quarter (17 entries)

    Qualifiers into tonight's Semi Final included dameflop, who is aiming to win her 2nd ticket to Manchester, though I note George is still having no luck & finished in 7th.

    chrisdonkb - remember him? - booked a seat too, as did Donald, who I firmly predict will win his Manchester seat tonight.

    Thanks to James and Team for putting a PLO Event on - I only started playing PLO when I registered for a game by accident, now a few thousand later...😂 😂
