Who won what on Monday. The UKOPS party is over

Good morning.

It always feels so flat the day or two after a UKOPS ends, it's like the day after Cheltenham ends, or the WSOP finishes, the "back to work" day after Crimble. The feeling of normality soon returns though.

Before we start, I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who took the trouble to comment on the UKOPS threads after yesterday's 10th & final write-up. I'm always pleasantly surprised how many lurkers there are on these threads.

OK, on we go.

A positively pedestrian evening for the Big 4, with the £10,500 of Guarantees surpassed by a modest 7%. Think Sky would have settled for that before the evening began.

Tonight may be a challenge, as it's Bonfire Night. We seem to have 4 or 5 every year now but this is the official one, & it also happens to be Summit night. It generally covers quite well, but firework parties & CL football will certainly put it to the test.

    £6,000 Marksman Bounty Hunter (£6,420)

    humberfish skated to victory, his sole win of any scale since he won Quickdraw on August 8th. We also had anglerfish in 4th, so between them the 2 fish netted a good few bob.

    Runner-up was robbo343, who seems to be a single tabler, just playing 1 MTT at a time. Deffo not criticising that, but it's not something I could ever do, my concentration would be all over the shop. Each to their own though, & if it works, good luck to him.

    In 3rd was BooBooTheB, regular readers will know he's had all sorts of good results, & I was a mite surprised not to see him figure prominently during UKOPS, but a spot of googling tells us that he never played any of the UKOPS events, except for a handful of satellites.

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,635)

    SugarP48, who has been playing MTT's here since 2012, had endured something of a downswing the last few years, but he's on the up now, collecting ~£273 here to add to the £200 he collected for winning a 148 runner megastack on October 26th.

    In 6th was lundie, who has one of those lovely Sharky gold stars, which he got by being the 5th most profitable Sky Poker MTT-er in 2018, assuming of course, which we sadly can't, that Sharky is accurate.

    @SugarP48 654000 1 £212.55 + £61.56 Head Prizes 10

    @neely0y0 0 2 £122.62 + £13.93 Head Prizes 3

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,000)

    This needed 40 entries/re-entries to cover, & it got....40. Easy game.

    The winner is very highly rated, & had some really good results earlier this year, but only returned to Sky Poker MTT's last month after a 4 month sabbatical.

    2nd was jakescol, who had such a great UKOPS, eventually finishing 3rd in the Total Player Leaderboard, bested only by miniman & roddy28.

    WOW1tsANDY, who made 4 or 5 FT's early doors in UKOPS & very kindly commented on the UKOPS Results thread yesterday, was 3rd, with Gelders 4th & Mister Moneybags 6th.

    @ChIpSiSbK 200000 1 £400 + £330.55 Head Prizes 7

    @jakescol 0 2 £250 + £95.22 Head Prizes 4

    @WOW1tsANDY 0 3 £150 + £65.63 Head Prizes 3

    @GELDY 0 4 £110 0

    @jongoescom 0 5 £90 + £132.42 Head Prizes 6

    @cpfc_2010 0 6 £60.94 Head Prizes 3

    Pleased to see these two reprobates playing. We never saw much of either during UKOPS, except the last day, but expect to see both of them in the winners enclosure very soon. Pretty sure both of them will be at SPT Manchester, too.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,200)

    More moolah for Mr Moneybags, who was able to fend off Groggs, luckme002, Lord Crush & Alvez, not to mention (though I will) MrCream510.

    Some of these Quickdraw final tables are seriously tough.

    @cpfc_2010 120000 1 £300 + £163.77 Head Prizes 3

    @FeelGroggy 0 2 £180 + £153.80 Head Prizes 6

    @luckme002 0 3 £120 0

    @loololollo 0 4 £43.36 Head Prizes 2

    @Alvez11 0 5 £65.63 Head Prizes 3

    SPT Grand Final Quarter (19 entries)

    These 5 all earned their seat in Thursday's Semi-Final, & with the exception of Billy12495, who I suspect is new to Sky Poker MTT's, are all familiar names.

    WOW1tsANDY will be vying for Bullet 2 in Thursday's semi, while Ebbers, bbMike & James (LmfaoAllin) are all trying for Bullet 1.

    If you have not tried to qualify for Manchester yet, you really should try a few of these Satellites, if LmfaoAllin can win a quarter final, anyone can.

    Honestly, I lost count when my first thread ended, I hope to start one next year if we are still here, it was a good way to maintain focus.

    We'll still be here next year Tom, so no excuses. ;)
