Last night saw the "official" Bonfire Night (can such a thing be official?) so it was in my mind that numbers would definitely be affected as Mum's & Dad's need to entertain their kids, the only question was how badly it might affect Sky Poker.
So it was a pleasant surprise to see that despite the £6,000 Summit running, Prize Pools exceeded Guarantees for the Big 4 by 15%.
In fact, the £6,000 Summit was the star of the show, coming in at a handsome £7,200.
The SPT quarter had a healthy 26 entries too.
All good then.

£6,000 Gold Rush (£6,660)
squeak had one of those nights where he could do no wrong. He won entry to Gold Rush via a £3.30 satellite, then won over £1,250 in Gold Rush, & just for fun nicked a quid in the Rewards Freeroll. Well played Mr squeak.Limp2Lose collected ~£515 in 3rd, WOW1tsAndy was 4th, Abdul 5th & IMAFISH 6th.

£2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,285)
The winner is a new name to me, so I can't tell you anything about him or his history.
In 3rd was Mohican who we know well, he's a motorbike fanatic, and he finished 5th of over 1,000 runners in the 2016 Sky Poker UKPC, collecting £40,000 in the process.
5th placed MARK277 has won the Mini twice this year, both times in July. Earlier this year he decided to play smaller buy-in MTT's, since when his profit graph has risen relentlessly.

£6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£7,200)
It generally takes a really good player to win Summit & so it proved last night, as Redmond took it down for over £1,900. This followed a successful UKOPS for him, the highlight of which was winning a £15,000 guaranteed BH on Day 5 for around £3,000.
cpfc is running hot right now & was 5th, ahead of Super_Oli.

Another MTT thst despite it's small field - just 21 last night - takes a bit of winning, and a 1-2-3 of Alvez, Mean Machine & Gambelo proves the point. cpfc was 5th, making consecutive finals along with Summit, though this time he only collected Head Prizes.

Great work to yourself and the team for an excellent UKOPS
See you all in Manchester 🙌
Thanks Redmond, be great to see you in Manchester, & well done on your recent results.
Good luck in going for the hat-trick of Mini wins in 2019.
