Who won what on Saturday, 4 MTT's but just 3 winners

A very good Sunday morning to you.

This will need to be brief, as the omnibus edition of The Archers starts at 10am. Can't miss that, last week ended with The Bull running out of crisps, & before we could come to terms with the gravity & sheer drama of that, along came the signature tune. Dum di dum di dum di da, dum di dum de da da...

Where was I? Oh yes, yesterday's numbers.

Not a bad night at all really, with Prize Pools for the Big 4 coming in 14% above Guarantees. With the sole exception of Quickdraw, which only covered by 2 entries, they all did pretty well.

The penultimate* SPT Manchester Quarter Final attracted a very healthy 27 entries.

* For the benefit of any Welsh readers we may have, who are likely to struggle with long words & the mother language, "penultimate" means "last but one".

    £8,000 Sharpshooter (£8,640)

    BHudson last booked a Big 4 win on April 27th, when he took down Quickdraw, though he did manage one FT during the recent UKOPS.

    It's been even longer since runner-up quinny76 featured, March 1st to be precise, when he was runner-up in the Avenger Main to Wacko90.

    kidgrimsby was 5th, & all being well, we shall see Dave & Sue at SPT Manchester in a few days time.

    @BHudson 2880000 1 £1144.80 + £361.84 Head Prizes 8

    @quinny76 0 2 £682.56 + £111.72 Head Prizes 5

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,580)

    GREGSTER won this. Last saw him at SPT Notts where he mixed briefly with @Jac35 & his peasant friends.

    6th was Jaystac, who won the Mega-Stack on Day 1 of UKOPS last month.

    The player in 5th was "ecakapug11". I've been scratching my head trying to think what "ecakapug11 " might stand for, & how come there are at least 10 others?

    @GREGSTER 5160000 1 £322.50 + £52.01 Head Prizes 9

    @gideon75 0 2 £180.60 + £46.61 Head Prizes 8

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,550)

    Quite a line-up here, with StayOrGo getting the nod ahead of TIMBER, a result that would have gone against the grain for Carl. Knot a bad result for TIMBER though.

    Rose was 4th, & Ryan 6th.

    @StayOrGo 255000 1 £471.75 + £314.93 Head Prizes 7

    @TIMBER 0 2 £280.50 + £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    @CANNONKID 0 3 £191.25 + £265.12 Head Prizes 9

    @IrishRose 0 4 £140.25 + £42.19 Head Prizes 2

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,050)

    POTN - (Player Of The Night) - has to go to StayOrGo who, following his Sheriff win, made it back-to-back victories by winning Quickdraw too. OK, they are relatively small fields, but it still takes some doing & it's very rare indeed that it happens. Not exactly an easy FT either, containing, amongst others, a GUKPT Grand Final Winner & a WSOP Bracelet winner.

    @StayOrGo 105000 1 £262.50 + £269.53 Head Prizes 8

    @Super_Oli 0 2 £157.50 + £77.34 Head Prizes 3

    @railtard11 0 3 £105 + £65.63 Head Prizes 3

    @wineli 0 4 £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    @Jdwling1 0 5 £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    I think you're barking up the wrong tree if you think you can out pun @Tikay10, Tom. He's branched out from his run of the mill coverage and is now plainly the bloak to beat.

    Yew and I both know he is hardly a sapling anymore, his roots are withering on the pun front.

    Always nice to get a mention on these threads from @Tikay10

    I reckon that @StayOrGo seems to know his poker.
