A very good morning to you. I'm full of 'flu so a bit grouchy today, a product of the cold & wet Manchester weather I guess.

As you know, these Reports generally cover "The Big 4", though on Sundays we include the £6,000 BH, & on Tuesday's the Summit.

I've decided, for a trial period, to add Midnight Express to the daily mix, so the Big 4 has now become....well, the Big 5.

Last night's numbers are best described as OK, everything covered, though I'd say "pedestrian" rather than good, with Prize Pools beating guarantees by 13%. Settle for that, but would prefer better.

Runner-up glencoelad was at SPT Manchester all weekend with Dameflop, before jumping on the Edinburgh train & heading home.

Like a sleeping giant awakening, The Bates is starting to return to form, though it's not every day we seem him described as "giant". In fact, this was the 2nd time he has won Sheriff in 6 days. Think we can reasonably predict plenty more wins will follow if the tide of variance has at last turned in his favour.

Note the in-form Richrash93 in 5th, for his 2nd FT of the evening.
