The BBC have announced the shortlist of 6 Sports Personalities for the 2019 SPOTY.

Which of those, if any, would you vote for, & why?

The Super Six are;

Dina Asher-Smith

Lewis Hamilton

Katarina Johnson-Thompson

Alun Wyn Jones

Raheem Sterling

Ben Stokes

    In case you are not aware;

    Asher-Smith & Johnson-Thompson are both lady athleticers.

    Alun Jones is a RU sort. Welsh, one assumes, by the spelling of his forename.

    Lewis Hamilton - well you all know him.

    Ben Stokes, ditto.

    Raheem Sterling is a footballer who plays for the third best team in the Premier League.

    Is that it ? It must've been a **** year for British sport then.The only one out of that lot who left any lasting memories for me was Ben Stokes.

    I would toss a coin between Asher-Smith and Stokes.

    They are definitely scraping the barrel when Alun Wyn Jones makes the shortlist.
